ERP MEE61841401 Igniter

Works well on my LG Gas stove.

Easy to install, perfect fit and not the oven works as it should.

This igniter is inexpensive, shipped quickly, was easy to install (after watching a youtube video)... looks just like the original and should last 5 to 7 years (the normal lifespan for an igniter). Mine lasted 6 years. When the resistance changes too much they will not light... they might glow, and might light now and then, but just replace the igniter when it starts giving you trouble codes... also, it is almost always the igniter, not the gas valve that needs to be replaced so just get one. You are going to need it anyhow soon... probably.

This replacement igniter is usually good, but one came broken and trying to have it replaced with a new igniter. Otherwise, product is very good.BE SURE to check the contents upon arrival to ensure that the igniter is not broken. Or else you cannot return after 30 days m

So it arrived well but as my husband was removing it from the packaging his hand became stuck to packaging tape, the item fell out of the box causing the items prongs to shattered breaking in half. Needless to say it was unrepairable and we needed to quickly order a new one. Waiting patiently for the new one to arrive today

Local appliance store wanted over $300 to fix my oven, glad I didn't have them do it. The part was shipped well protected and it was way easy to fix. I unplugged the oven, swept behind it, cleaned the sides, and then swapped the part, total time I had to change my oven clock by to make it current was only 45 minutes. Well worth the money

if the taped at both ends box containing your eagerly awaited gas oven igniter sounds like a maraca when lifted from its grossly oversized, Amazon shipping box, immediately go begin the return process.actually, first tell the person whose been waiting on this part so you can fix the oven.first photo shows first slide out.second is the part and all the pieces.part boxers have enough tape to hit both ends of the outer box after the part slides in, but don't bother first to tape the part to the insert?!having the foam won't do jack when the part is regularly jostling inside.tape the wire leads to the non foamed portion after the fragile element is safely situated. done.Amazon, Amazon, Amazon.What's up with the far-too-common deal of sending single items, 80% smaller than the shipping box chosen?!This part never had a chance! Getting slammed around inside what it thought was a napping cabin, inside of the box Amazon chose, bouncing around like that shoe you once decided to wash at a public laundromat.So IDGet good deed credit, or tasty baked goods, this company does...IDK, whatever...and Amazon rolls on like a mentally-detached juggernaut.And our little, hot surface igniter gets turned into an after-school special about tragic fates for wayward ceramics with fragile composite legs.I'm just trying to replace a burned out heating element, and this order/find broken/shoot photos/upload and create feedback/request replacement or refund is taking 5x as long as the repair. sweet. thanks!

The original igniter in the oven failed just after the warranty was expired, but should last more than one year. This item is a fraction of the cost for the manufacturer’s replacement part, but has been working perfectly for over two yeas now. I ordered one, which arrived broken, but they replaced it immediately. This happens, so can’t fault the supplier. Easy to install. Perfectly 100% satisfied.

Arrived in a double carboard box with bubble wrap around the inner carton. Inside there was foam padding around the part. The part looked exactly like the original I removed.Works well. We'll see if it lasts as long as the OEM part - about 3 years.
