Orolay Women's Thickened Down Jacket

My previous experience has been completely replaced with positive feelings and great customer service. The company has replaced the jacket I received with a beautiful, new, fresh and well-made jacket. The quality is excellent, smelled clean when opened, very warm! I love the cozy layers in this jacket too. It fits true to size and I adore it! Mistakes happen, but it’s how you respond to them that matters most and I am happy to report the response and quality of jacket is worth every single star.

Let me start this off by saying I love this jacket. This is my second time ordering/returning this item. The jacket arrived in a timely manner and it was packaged in a nicely sealed plastic bag with the tags on the inside of the jacket. The first time I purchased it I found green stains on the sherpa lined hood.I returned the jacket and I received my replacement jacket even faster. I opened the box and found the jacket in a sealed plastic bag but unlike the one I had the first time. The jacket didn’t have any tags on it and I found hair on the inside of the hood. To make matters worse, I opened the jacket to find a big hole on the inside. I’m extremely disappointed because this jacket is so warm and cute. I don’t know if I even want to bother trying for the THIRD time.. goodluck!

I was excited to receive this jacket today but was instantly disappointed. The stitching on the jacket is terrible and is coming apart in multiple places all over the jacket. It is sewn very poorly. Also when I received the coat, the zipper on the side of the jacket is completely stuck and will not move up or down in either direction. Can't believe i received it this way. It's getting returned.

SO WARM. So stylish! I am so in love with this coat. It seems very well put together and heavy and sturdy. I am usually a size L/XL in everything and the large fits perfectly with the zippers up on the sides. It gets a bit narrow around the hips but it's adjustable so it's fine! Absolutely love this coat ❤️For reference I am 5'4 & 200lbs.

Let me start by saying, my husband says that I am obsessed with coats!! I saw this on a lightning deal during the holiday season and thought it was so unique I had to have it!! Out of probably 20 winter coats, this is now my absolute favorite!! I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this coat, love everything about it! The quality is outstanding! I have had every ecpensive brand name winter coat, but have never ever had one that has kept me this warm! I I'm not even looking forward to the warmer months because I don't want to put this coat away!! Waiting for another deal, so that I can order it in a couple more colors!! Every time I wear it, I get at least one, "I love your coat"!! Oh and I should mention, the customer service department was outstanding. I had a question in December, during the holiday season, and they responded within 15 minutes of my email and had everything resolved!! How does that happen during the busiest season of the year?

I loved it and hope Orolay goes back to what they started and not skimp. And Orolay has made improvements and I'm back to loving first Parka-love!!! As every product-making company has done at some point where 1 or 2 pieces may slip through the inspection, I just happened to have received that particular one. I love this jacket. Got it at XS and it fit perfectly - no tightness, no wind getting from under the jacket and no fabric stretching! I'm usually a UK8 or US6. I'm 170 cm or 5.58ft tall. (Gonna return the M which is too loose for me.) I like the pockets, which can store my phone, purse, gloves, camera and every other necessity for an outdoor trip.And it's super warm. I wore it with only a t-shirt and leggings and went outdoors when there was moderate snow and temperature was -3 celcius or 27 fahrenheit outdoors. The surface is water-resistant and the snow glides away on the surface. Some spots later got wet from melted snow caught around the bend of the elbow, but these dried up quickly.

I first saw this jacket on a fellow dog person, while walking our dogs. She is a designer so I assumed this was some expensive design jacket, cause it looks it! I just got mine today and I must say that it's perfect in every way! FIT: got mine in M, I'm 5'8 and 150 lbs, 40" chest 30" waist 40" hips, athletic build. Wasn't sure if I should go w L, thinking it might be Asian sizes, and glad I didn't!! The M is perfect - there's enough room in the chest area (I'm often forced to buy bigger size jacket to fit the chest and am a bit tired of the oversized look & feel, but not this time!). Some other reviewers mentioned the arms / sleeves being on a smaller side - well, I don't have big arms but they are def not toothpick thin, and the sleeves fit fine with a normal / thin sweater on. Maybe if u wear a super chunky sweater underneath it might feel too snug, but the jacket seems super warm as is and I doubt I would need a thick sweater with it. COLOR: got mine in green and it's the right kind of green. I would have called it "Spanish Olive Green", cause that's what it is. DESIGN: the cut is nice and unusual. Love the 1000 pockets and the side zippers feature. OVERALL it's a great jacket for the price that looks waaaaay more expensive than it is. Will def recommend to a friend!

I love this coat, I wasn’t actually expecting to like it. I have worn a famous brand winter coat for years and have recently returned a premium coat for its quality compared to price. I am over the moon with this purchase. I was looking for a warm down filled coat but wanted something a little different to a regular puffa coat. This coat is so well made, so cozy and has a brilliant hood. I would recommend this coat to anyone. I found the size chart on the US amazon site. I am 5’7” and bought a Medium. I can comfortably wear a jumper under.

- The filling of the jacket is polyester instead of duck down.- No Orolay label on the jacket and label is removed with trace.- Zipper is made of cheap metal and very sharp that could scrap your skin- craftsmanship is not good as thread is hanging everywhere- the white lining inside the hood is not soft- CAD150 is totally over-priced and I think I can find similar at CAD70 retailTotal disappointed and now waiting for response from seller for a refund.

This jacket arrived SO quickly, I couldn’t believe it. I ordered it on Friday 3 Jan and was told the delivery date would be 3 Feb. Imagine my surprise when it arrived today!After reading the comments on Amazon about the sizing being too small, I ordered a size 3X. It isn’t too small at all. The sizing seems true to size but I had ordered two sizes larger to be on the safe side.The jacket in navy is absolutely GORGEOUS. The shiny orange lining and white “teddy bear”-like hood lining is FABULOUS.The jacket I received was well-made and I just fell in love with it even more. I didn’t even want to take it off!Sadly, I have to return it but I am hoping to have it replaced with an XL for a smarter look. As it is so cosy, I won’t want to wear thick jumpers underneath (or I’ll swelter) so a jacket closer in fit would be ideal.I will provide a further update once the Seller gets back to me and I receive my ideal size.UPDATE: My replacement jacket (down one size) arrived this morning and is AMAZING from the fit, colour, aesthetics to the warmth. The Seller made sure I didn’t have to wait too long and the replacement arrived on 15 Jan. Super fast!Definitely invest - it’s worth it. Looks great even on plus size women and is very well made. I’ll update again if all is not what it seems after I’ve worn it this winter.

I had read about the coat on various NYC websites. How it was the uniform for the Manhattan and Brooklyn school run. Comfortable and stylish, but cheap. And then my sister, a mom on the UWS, bought one. I trust her opinion, so when she told me she loved it, I bought one for myself. (But in a different color than her, obvi.)I love mine. It's like wearing a sleeping bag, it's so cozy and so warm. It keeps me warm on English country walks or when I'm in London for meetings. The pockets! So many pockets for all my stuff. The hood is massive. When it's up, I don't get any rain in my face. When it's down, it craddles my neck like a soft cushion.My only complaints: 1) it is a little narrow on my hips, but the size zips mean that I can adjust it. 2) it's more expensive in the UK. I know that this only costs $100-120 in the US, but I spent 145 quid. If I had been traveling to the US anytime soon, I would have bought it from US amazon and had it shipped to my sister.Women of Great Britain, listen to us (former) New Yorkers. Buy The Coat.

I gave it 5 stars due to the high quality of the item and it came beautifully packaged. Unfortunately, I am returning as it is not for me but am writing this review so potential buyers can get some idea of the fit. I found the sizing for this coat confusing. I am 5ft 2in and a small size 10. I ordered the medium based on the reviews but it comes up big on me and a little longer in length than I would like. The small probably would have been a better fit and with room to wear a chunky knit jumper underneath. It's also a weighty item which I find uncomfortable. To help buyers with the sizing I have taken photos of the measurements for the medium.
