Stable and works extremely well
My tank that I'm currently cycling was hitting 90° where I live in Jamaica. I originally wanted a betta fish to inhabit my 5 gallon fish tank, but I knew it would not survive in such high temperature. I started searching and searching for something within my budget (since i had more to get for my fish tank) and came across this. I bought the dual fan version since i wanted the most i could get out of it. I would've gotten the triple version but i would not have the space for it. My hopes were hanging by a thread but this thing surprised me. The first night i tested it out, the temperature went from 90.5° to 81.5°. It was just enough to keep the water cool and I am grateful. During the days when it's extremely hot (summer in Jamaica), it obviously gets a bit warmer, but it's on the bridge between 82° and a little over 83°. I think my future betta will be able to live with the slight higher temperature (fingers crossed). I just know it's definitely an improvement compared to 90° up. Btw, it's a fan so you will hear it. I use mine on the higher speed, yet it's not too loud but it's not silent. I use a fan for myself regularly so the sound of this fan is overpowered which means it doesn't bother me. For other people who are sensitive to sound though, it's up to you if you can put up with it for the better of you aquatic pets.

Good fan. OK price.
The fan works great for what it's meant to do. Can cool down a small aquarium within minutes. It's a bit overpriced for the quality. This should be a $10 fan. Also, the power connector on the fan tends to get loose over time. The fan itself can still work, but the metallic contacts on the AC adapter port either gets loose and prevents the fan from drawing power.

It works great! It won’t fit a rimmed aquarium
I was pretty skeptical about these little fans being able to cool a tank for an axolotl but they totally work! I have 10 gallon and 40 gallon tanks set up with the 2 fan option. The fan on the 10 gallon can achieve almost 9 degrees cooler than room temperature and 5 degrees cooler on the 40 gallon. I was really impressed that it still worked on a much larger tank! And I am using the lower setting on the fan. The humidity currently is 50% (inside) and my home is around 70 degrees. There is a good amount of evaporation so topping off the tanks with water daily or every other day is a must in my conditions. I have only had these for a couple weeks so I don’t know yet how they hold up. Given the price if they work for a year before they break I won’t be upset. As many others have mentioned, they won’t fit your rimmed aquarium. But you could carefully remove part of the rim (watch YouTube how to) or devise a way to rest it safely over the water. It would be great if one of these fan vendors read that these don’t fit rimmed tanks and adjusted the design- it’s only off by a tiny amount.

It blows.
Wish I could say I could give a proper review however it would not fit our 55 gallon fish tank. The fans are quiet and it runs good not sure if it will really do as fish tank cooler I suspect it would just cause increase in water loss in the tank

When's A Warranty Not A Warranty
Product warranty is worthless. This unit lasted 5 months before it crapped out. Although it comes with a one year warranty, it appears that the seller has no intention to honor it. When the seller was informed of the defect they began to ask questions about what had happened, what was the condition of the fan, why do I think it failed. In the meantime, it was tossed and a new one purchased. The tank will not survive without a cooling fan. The LAST instruction they sent was to send a picture. Too late. The need to keep the fan for a picture should have been the first, not the last, instruction. In my opinion, this was a devious tactic to avoid having to honor a warranty.

Perfect for a 30-gallon
This fan is great for a 30-gallon tank. It can be a little loud on high, but I use the low setting anyway, so that’s not a problem. This is the second one of these fans I’ve bought. My first one lasted four years, which was impressive, especially at this price. I was skeptical when I read about the fan method for cooling down a reef tank. It seemed too simple, and I didn’t think it would work. But I decided to try it before buying a chiller, especially since it was so cheap and easy to implement. I’m so glad I did! This is definitely the best solution for a 30-gallon reef tank. I’m not sure if it would be as effective on a larger tank, but for a 30-gallon, it’s perfect.

This fan works only on small fish tanks. Didn't work on my 20 gallon obviously was too big🙄. It saved my bettas in a 5 gallon tank during the heatwave.

Despite being advertised as quiet, it's really noisy, no way you would want this in your lounge room or bedroom. See the video. I wish I hadn't waited until weather warmed up and return window had closed before using. Not fit for purpose, I would never inflict this volume of noise on anything in aquarium.
