Versatile and Yummy
I love how simple and versatile these are to make... I can quickly toss one in the microwave for a quick treat, or I can go all-out and bake them, each with different, but yummy results. Now that my kids have moved out, these are the perfect size for me and I always have a few in my cupboard for when I need a sweet treat. Sometimes I'll add an additional handful of chocolate, butterscotch, or espresso chips, caramel pieces or frosting to add a few extra calories, lol. My favorite flavor is the double chocolate, followed by the chocolate chip and sugar cookie flavors. I personally did not care for the oatmeal cookie, but it is my husband's favorite. I thought the cinnamon flavor was overwhelming and fake, which was surprising since I find the other flavors amazing and I enjoy cinnamon. I had been buying them at my local grocery store, but found them much more reasonably priced here on Amazon, making them a better value overall. Now I keep a monthly subscribe and save order so I don't have to worry about running out.

These are amazingly delicious :)
I dont honestly know why these would have a bad review. They aren't huge, but they are enough for two to four people to have a slice. They aren't super thick like a cake they are a big brownie type dessert. These are perfect for anytime you want a little snack. They come in a few different flavors, and they actually taste quite good :) our grand daughters make them their selves in the microwave. YOu can over cook them quite easily, but it just makes them more dense. You can make these even better by adding frosting or sprinkles or what have you. But really they are perfect the way they are.

A fun little novelty
First off, I'd rather just buy a normal large cookie that is likely at a fraction of the price or with higher quality ingredients because I'm buying it fresh from a baker. With that said, I do enjoy the little novelty of mixing the dough and popping it in the microwave. I've made plenty of mug cookies and cakes when I'm too lazy to whip up a whole batch. This is not much different apart from the price and it becomes rock solid after it cools so don't expect a soft cookie. I wouldn't call it very worthwhile, but it tasted nice and I enjoyed it. I may buy again at some point, if I make the mistake of shopping while hungry again. Perhaps it could be a fun activity for adults and children to customize a cookie. All-in-all, I enjoyed, nothing fancy and there are better options out there.

Medium grade, not great and not garbage
For starters the directions are way way off. You need way more than 2tbsp water and 2tbsp oil to create a usable mixable batter. I used about 4tbsp water and 2.5 tbsp pil to get a workable batter. Next up, 1 minute and 15 seconds was not enough time. I microwaved maybe 3 minutes and 30 seconds than let it sit for a bit. It's faster than oven brownies sure, but still a lot of work especially when you're chronically ill. Don't get me wrong, I mixed for 5 minutes with the box instructions of 2 tbsp water and 2 tbsp oil, but most of it was still powder. It also says to microwave in 15 second intervals (which is a joke.) Agter the 3.5 minutes microwaving, I let it cool for several minutes. The smell is quite unpleasant and does not smell like chocolate. It almost smells like the outside garbage day smell mixed with beets. It's a strange smell but obviously taste is the main factor. After cooling for 5 minutes, it's mostly solid. Taste wise? It's OK. Like I'll definitely never get this again lol. It's like one step above those brownies you find in the kid's lean cuisine tv dinners, but just barely one step above. After letting it cool even longer so I no longer have the blow on the bites, the taste improves a tiny bit, but not very much. I'd put it at 1.5 steps above kid's lean cuisine brownie. Price wise, it's a great deal. I'd pass on it tho if you're disabled/chronically ill coz it still does require a lot of effort despite being able to be made in the microwave. Ill still probly try this brand's brownie version of this, just to see what it's like, but overall, it's not completely garbage, but not really great either. Side note, my camera shows thing way brighter than they actually are. This cookie is in fact a deep dark brown, but my camera messes the color up. Better than expected and perfect for me.
I live alone and making a lot of cookies or cake is just a waste. I can't eat all of it before it goes bad. This is a small enough serving that I can have 4 pieces over 2-3 days and enjoy it. I didn't try it in the microwave. I baked mine. I will try microwave eventually, but it is winter in upstate New York, so I may as well use the oven while I can. Mixing the batter was a bit messy, but that was most likely more a flaw of me that the product. I would recommend it as a quick and easy dessert.

Take your sundae to the next level
If you are trying to stay fit, stay far away from these. If you've given up on all that, then join the party! These are perfect for serving with ice cream. The chocolate is a little bitter without the ice cream. One pan would make 2 big or 3 medium sized sundaes. I'm addicted!
