Equi Wing HyperNylon Stirrup Irons

I have ridden in these stirrups irons several times since receiving them and I love them!! In the past, during and after riding with my fillis irons, my back would always be very sore. Since using these, my back has felt wonderful and I've not had any amount of soreness. I had read reviews on other websites with riders claiming this and I have to admit, I was skeptical. Not anymore! I will always have a pair of these! I also love how lightweight they are and that both types of pads were included. I've only used the grated type so far and have been pleased with the grip they provide. I like that they screw into place and are stable. My only suggestion would be to re-tighten all the screws before riding. They all appeared to be tight but after the first ride, I noticed I had lost several in the indoor arena. They were easy enough to replace and I haven't had any further issues. I'm thrilled with this purchase and would encourage others to give them a try!

After reading several reviews about losing the screws that hold the graters in, I decided to chance buying these anyway and planned to double check the screws each time before my daughter rode. Even checking and tightening all the screws prior to riding, my daughter lost 3 screws after the first use which was an easy 20 minute ride (a little walk/trot, no canter or jumping). I definitely do not recommend these stirrups.

It love these stirrups, however the metal foot plates were on them and apparently not screwed on because I found my plate on the arena floor. I checked the other stirrup and it only had two screws instead of four. I will use the screws that came with the spare rubber plates and hope they stay on.Follow up: The screws included don't fit the stirrups at All. They are wood screws! They just fall out.So I figured out that the metal plates require one type of screw which was not included and the rubber pads require the wood screws included. One trip to Home Depot and I have them fixed.I still love the stirrups. They are effortless and comfortable. No more gripping my irons.

A friend with whom I ride has the very expensive Royce Rider stirrups; I had always used the fillis steel ones, but tried these because my friend raved so much about hers. I have never ridden in the Royce stirrups, but these look about the same, and they are vastly more comfortable than the stainless stirrups. I loved them so much that I got another pair for my dressage saddle. I highly recommend them, especially for the price and the weight.

This product lasted for only 3 rides before all the screws had fallen out and the metal footpads were too loose to use. Fortunately, the rubber footpads stay in without screws so we were able to switch to those and it wasn't a complete loss. If you want the metal cheesegrater footpads, you probably want different stirrups.

These stirrups are as good as the more expensive ones in the same style! They are light weight and very comfortable and I no longer lose my left stirrup!

I bought these about a month ago and the silver grip popped out while I was riding. I tried contacting the company for a resolution but still waiting on a response. Pretty expensive stirrups to fall apart so easily...

I take out the grating and put in the Hypernylon foot pad. These are comfortable and light but still very strong.
