More secure than the USB
I have the Sky-Watcher EQ6 R Pro. Nice mount, however, the USB connection feels somewhat loose, cable comes out extremely easy, very minimal effort. I decided I need something more secure other than duck tape. Very satisfied this this product. I was looking at other retailers but it seems EVERYONE wanted this cable therefore none were in stock. Took a chance and bought it from Amazon and couldn't be more satisfied. Worked right away with no issues and best of all; No more wondering if the wind unplugged the mount.

So far so good!
I’ve had my cable for almost 1.5 years now and it’s been working great with my ASIAIR Plus and HEQ5 Pro mount.As someone who travels with my gear quite a bit, I wish the mount-side connector had one of those sleeves protecting the little disconnect lever from breaking off but so far that hasn’t been a problem.

The cable works well for the purpose it was made. My only minor complaint is, it is not very pliable.

Works like a charm.
Links up my ASIAir Pro and Sky Watcher EQ6-Ri Pro. It’s quite long, but does what it says. Can’t ask for more.

Works great with HEQ5 Pro
I have used this cable about 3-4 times now along with the EQ Mod software and my HEQ5 Pro mount. It works great. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars because it's too early to determine the durability of the cable. I'm hoping it lasts quite a while.I installed the driver it suggested, ascom, eq mod, stellarium, and stellarium scope. Everything communicates well because of this cable.

Extra cables begone!
This made cable management so much better ei n my eqm-35 pro mount. Everything is so clean now, and the whole setup finally works like a dream.

Complete Junk
I purchased 2 of these cables. Within 90 days, both cables no longer work. In those 90 days, based on sky conditions, each cable was used approximately twice before they gave out. And they couldn't have quit working between astro sessions, nope, both quit working mid astrophotography session.
