I bought these in the fall of 2016. My reasoning for purchasing them was to reduce the amount of plastic I use. The bottles themselves are glass and have held up very well. On the one that I dropped there is only a very small chip on the outside. I use them to carry water and coffee. They take a while to clean. They came with a plastic bottle cleaner that had a scrubber in the middle and a sponge on the bottom. After using the bottle cleaner for a few months the sponge ripped and fell off the brush. Not wanting to buy something to clean them out with, I took some cotton yarn, made a pom pom, and tied it to the bottom. It works just as well. There is a silicone ring that seats inside the lids. When washing them, I use a toothpick to get the rings out so I can wash them as well. If you don't take out the rings and wash them, I find they start to smell funky (and this is probably because I carry coffee in the bottles, not just water). Taking apart the lids is a bit time consuming. These bottles are not plastic free. The lids are entirely plastic with an outer stainless steel covering. After a few months of heavy use, the stainless steel coverings fell off the plastic lids. The lids still work just fine without their stainless steel coverings. When I bought these I thought the lids were mostly stainless steel, but it turns out they are mostly plastic. I am disappointed with this fact. All and all, these bottles work well. They have never leaked. I just wish they were plastic free.

I bought these to use as my everyday water bottle. I decided to purchase because they are glass and I wanted to avoid the BPA in plastic bottles. This set comes with 6 bottles and 1 bottle cleaning brush. Each bottle comes with their own black sleeve which I thought was neat. I believe the sleeves are used for a more comfortable grip and to protect the glass as well as to retain the temperature of the liquid inside. I, however, did not utilize the black sleeves mainly because I like to see the liquid that I am drinking and the cushion on the bottom of the bottle made it a bit unstable when sitting it down on a flat surface. Also, one notable tidbit that I believe is worth mentioning is that these bottle develop a mildew smell around the spout area rather quickly even despite washing it with soap and water daily. Not sure if it has anything to do with the hot weather outside but I would wash the bottle in the morning and by the evening, I will start to smell mildew. Not really sure how one would avoid this besides wiping off the rim of the glass after every sip taken. Besides these personal issues I have with the bottle, they are nice, durable bottles. They do the job and are aesthetically pleasing and you get 6 bottles for $23 which I believe is a great deal.

They were reasonable, the outside sleave was what I needed to be able to carry around and not worry about breakage and it insulate. I'm trying to get away from plastics containers so these was a good choice for me. Good for storing your smoothies or your juicing.

Good cheap glass bottle for around the house. 5 out of 6 bottles came as expected. Meaning they serve their function. I've given the bottles 3 stars. I am giving it that because I am reviewing the bottles not the price. I do take price into consideration when I purchasing items, but I expect a rating to reflect the merchandise. Too start, the bottles work as intended. They hold stuff and will last several months if not a year or more. The quality of the glass is sub par (to be expected at a price like this) and I have no gripe against it. These are cheap bottles, but buyers must understand that the glass thickness is uneven and 'wonky' looking. They are perfect for home use, but don't let that strap fool you into thinking these are good on the go. One of the bottles I purchased has a small spot on it where the glass is so thin it leaks water. It's not cracked. There just isn't enough glass. I will also note that the bottom of these bottles have no production numbers. The manufacturer is not keeping track of their production runs which is a red flag when it comes or quality control. These bottles can not be tracked back to manufacture dates or production lines. The 'quality' of these bottles comes down to visual inspection at the end of the line. I would not trust these bottles with any sudden temperature change. I will always start with warm water and work my way up to hot when cleaning. I simply do not trust these bottles to that extent. It is always a risk when you play with glass, but please take your time with these. The cap works as expected, but will probably be the failure point after a lot of use. The rubber seal may pop off from time to time, but it's an extremely minor inconvenience. The strap and mountings for the strap seem adequate. I wouldn't swing it around, but it's good. Something I will note is that there is a cavity within the cap. This cavity is large enough to fit the entire length of strap (if not more) inside. This will never happen by accident, but it doesn't seem right that there is a blind spot where dust, gunk, and mildew can be entrapped on a product designed for food. I will be taking extra measures to ensure the area is decontaminated and dried during/after each cleaning. The manufacture should fill this area to eliminate this problem. Again, I will use these at home. In my experience I like to use 'Liberty Bottleworks' aluminum bottles for my on the go bottle needs.

Really love these bottles. We had bought a juicer, we put juice directly in them. Love that they are glass and insulated. Recommend

Update: I am upping my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Why? That loop on top makes all the difference. I have arthritis and tendon damage in my hands and this makes it hard to grasp items like these bottles that can be heavy when full. I often drop bottles and jars and cause breakage. The loop at the top prevents this and makes the bottles so easy to lift and carry. The loops seem soil resistant and strong. Excellent water bottle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just received these very quickly and in perfect condition. They hold slightly over two cups of fluid. The glass seems strong enough but not that much more than dollar store quality. The caps seem more like aluminum than stainless steel, very light and thin - so thin I thought it was silver coloured plastic. I can't get the loop on top over my wrist but can easily get four fingers into it. It's soft yet strong and won't cut into your hand when carrying. Because it is fabric, it may have to be washed frequently. The sleeves aren't thick but seem robust enough to prevent breakage if dropped, and have a convenient loop for pulling them on and off the glass. They remove easily. So far, even when I turn the bottle upside down and shake, there is no leakage at all. That said, the lids seem fairly flimsy and don't look like they will last too long. Hopefully they sell replacement lids. I haven't put these in the dishwasher yet, but will try with one bottle to see how it holds up and update if it does. Caution: These need to be thoroughly washed in hot soapy water before use. There is an awful smell of something like petroleum oil inside the bottle. The glass has been treated with it. I filled the bottles after washing to the top with warm water, added a teaspoon of basking soda to get the smell out of the lid and the smell was mostly gone. Bottom line: I am happy with these so far. Will update as time goes on to report on how the lids stand up with continual use.

The lids are not hygienic due to the strap and the hole in the lid where attached. A perfect spot for “stuff” to build up inside the lid.
