Tastes the same as caster/granulated to me!
I've been using sweeteners in my tea for years but never used it in cooking/baking until recently. Lots of people say that it doesn't live up to granulated or caster sugar & that it's taste isn't nice but I disagree with that, I've baked cakes, cookies, brownies using this instead of caster sugar & I really couldn't tell the difference only that I knew there was no added calories added to the recipe due to sugar which helps enormously when your on a calorie deficit, losing weight & you want a sweet treat.I'm totally happy with this no calorie sugar & will continue to use it.

Tasted like granulated sugar, great for rhubarb sweetner
Love fresh Rhubarb, but the amount of sugar needed to sweeten it is a lot. Tried this product in a batch of rhubarb and it worked really well. Great way of eating fresh produce that requires sweetening without eating too much sugar. I like this product, but it is more expensive than granulated sugar. However, unlike other sweeteners that can spike blood sugar, (this is recommended as advice is that doesn't spike sugar like other sweeteners), it tastes great. It is good for lower carb eating and for type 2 diabetics (I am not diabetic). I would purchase again, as most of my sugar use is for things like stewed rhubarb or the odd Birthday cake. Recommend, shame it costs so much. I suspect as more demand rises, the cost will go down.

Good product
Pure Via Erythritol comes in a convenient 2 x 1kg pack, offering a substantial supply of this zero-calorie, keto-friendly sugar alternative. Erythritol is a popular choice for those following low-carb or keto diets, as it provides sweetness without the calories or impact on blood sugar levels. This non-GMO certified sweetener is ideal for baking, cooking, or simply adding to beverages. The product's large packaging is practical for frequent users, reducing the need for constant repurchasing. While it closely mimics the taste of sugar, some people might notice a slight aftertaste. Overall, Pure Via Erythritol is a reliable and versatile sweetener that aligns well with health-conscious and low-carb diets.

Sweetish sugarly.
My fodmap friendly sugar substitute. Not as sweet as sugar for sure but after a year or so of using this, sugar is now way too sweet for my taste. This version is among the cheaper available on Amazon mostly and a helluvah lot cheaper than the supermarket version!

Tastes great, but substantial laxative properties
As advertised, this sweetener tastes amazing. No bitter aftertaste; just sweetness. But it is about 3 times less sweet than sugar so I used 3 teaspoons per cuppa. Unfortunately, at this dose I found it was a very effective laxative. I have used it a bit since realising this, but only as a partial sugar substitute and not in every cup of tea. The laxative properties are known and are not going to affect everyone however, so I'd still give it a try, but maybe don't take too much until you know if it will adversely affect you.
