Bandai Pokemon - D-Arts [Mewtwo]

This beautiful vinyl Mewtwo figure is a must have for any die-hard Pokemon fan's collection. The color, quality, and overall structure of the figure catches my eye every time I walk past my bookshelf, where I have it displayed.The figure is completely posable, allowing me to change up Mewtwo's position whenever I please. Whether I want him to look graceful or fierce, is all up to me. However, it is delicate and one of the fingers popped off at one time when I was positioning him but the fact that his fingers even move in the first place is impressive! (Just move them carefully)That said, this is NOT A TOY. I saw reviews from parents complaining that the figure lost fingers and hands when their kid played with it. The price alone shows that its not a toy. At $50-60 it is more like art, meant to be viewed and admired on display or bookshelf from a standing point.One of my favorite things about this stunning Bandai D-Arts figure is the orb or Shadow Ball that Mewtwo can hold with its interchangeable hand. This allows even more diversity to the many positions this guy can have and adds character incomparable to any other Pokemon action figure I own or have ever seen. The only downfall I noticed is the platform that was included so that one may display him in a flying position is simply too heavy. The arm/clasp of the platform is too weak and flimsy to provide much support.Regardless of said cons, I still rate this product 5 stars due to it's impeccable craftsmanship and genuine quality. I look forward to completing the D-Arts collection with Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard.

This isn’t just a Mewtwo figure, it’s THE Mewtwo figure. Best one on the market!

It did not come with mew, but it is still a great figure with amazing articulation and very accurate detail

Cons- The description is clearly out dated. This figure does not come with the bonus edition Mew as it is described, "Includes bonus edition D-Arts Mew which is approximately 30mm high." The description should be changed ASAP, as this is technically false advertisement.Pros- Regardless of the description, and not getting the bonus Mew, this Mewtwo figure is as expected by D-Arts.Very well made, top of the line paint and sculpt. Box was in well condition and shipping was fast. Over all an excellent collectible and I would recommend to any Pokémon fan. Just make sure to know for sure what you are getting.

I love this figure, he is well made and his sculpt is very accurate to the Pokémon it represents. He is very posable and can be posed in many different positions. My one also came with a Mew figure which was a cute addition. I really recommend him for Pokémon fans, he is a good price too for what he is.

Overall a great figure!The tail moves a bit less than I expected it to based on the pictures on the box, but otherwise it looks great. I also like that it seems to match the scale of my Trainer Red Figma. Different company, but they go together pretty nicely.

Excellent condition and good quality.Articulated parts easy to move and pose in various positions.Though I wish there was different colors of this item like in the Super Smash Bros Melee. Red, blue and green.Overall I am very satisfied with this item.Yet the hands seem to pop off at the wrists if not careful.

This is my first D-Arts purchase, and while the price of the figure was a deterrent for me, I'm glad I finally caved. The articulation is very nice, though Mewtwo could benefit fro, some knee joints and better balance. The only way I've gotten him to stand without using the included stand was by using his tail as a back prop. So,e of the joints were a bit stubborn, particularly his shoulders, but after some rotation, they became a bit more easier to work with. Mewtwo's overall range of motion is pretty good, but there are some limitations in his legs and shoulders. Some of the ball joints can come off easily, particularly the wrist and parts of the tail. Thankfully, they pop right back on.As a display piece, Mewtwo is a nice addition to my collection and can be posed in a variety of positions. Currently, he is posed brandishing a lightsaber. The size of the figure is a nice medium size; not too large, but not too small. I have yet to do motion tests, as my primary reason for the purchase was animation. As I mentioned before, the price was a deterrent at first, as I normally do not spend so much on figures. But, if you're a fan of figma-style display pieces and like to have an awesome Pokemon in your collection, Mewtwo is a nice addition.

cette figurine est super bien faite, elle est magnifique! pour ceux qui aime Mewtwo vous ne serez pas déçu! je ne regrette pas du tout cette achat!

This figure represents the world's strongest Pokémon in all his awesome glory! Although the joints may be stiff to begin with, and some have commented upon his purple hue being inconstant with his paler, original design, D-Arts Mewtwo is impressively pose-able and the minimalistic colouration is well complimented with beautiful shading throughout. His imposing glare is particularly well captured, and his tail constitutes an unarguable highlight. My only disappointment is the clamp included with the cool Pokéball-inspired stand: said mechanism is connected to the arm with a peg that could definitely be larger (and hence provide more stability for flight poses, etc.), however this may only be present in my figure. But any minuscule flaws are outweighed when the piece comes to life next to other Nintendo figures (I highly recommend Good Smile Company's Figma range if like me you're aspiring to complete a Super Smash Bros. display!). Overall, no Pokémon fan should go without one of these high-quality figures in their home!

Habe mir die Figur gekauft, da ich Mewtu seit dem ersten Auftritt geliebt habe. Die Figur habe ich zum ersten mal auf einer japanischen Seite gesehen, auf der sie allerdings über 100 € gekostet hat und innerhalb weniger Stunden ausverkauft war. Da ist der Preis (inklusive Versand nach Österreich) von 40 € schon nicht schlecht.Zur Figur selber:Die Figur sieht klasse aus, da kann man nicht meckern. Allerdings ist sie nicht ganz so beweglich, wie sie auf den Bildern zu sein scheint. Den Schwanz kann man nicht ganz so weit abbiegen und das Mittelstück des Bauches kann man auch kaum bewegen. Zum Glück ist auch ein Ständer gleich mitgeliefert, da sonst die Figur sehr schnell umfällt.
