Good Build Quality with One Small Issue
The reason I needed this was to transfer files from one computer to another. I just built a new computer and wanted to take advantage of my ultra-wide monitors PbP function but it didn't have a built-in KVM switch or USB hub. This was a sweet way of getting the job done! Both computers fired-up utilizing a split screen and this device to switch keyboard and mouse control from one to the other. The only issue I had was when plugging the USB drive into the device and transferring files, the keyboard is pretty much useless with the massive delays, although the mouse still worked properly. This could have something to do with the Logitech Unified Dongle. So it did limit my ability to multi-task, but it was a way better option than switching a monitor back and forth between computers. The main reason I bought this one over the vast sea of switches here on Amazon is because the case is metal, NO PLASTIC with this one! I hope this helps people in their researching process.

Super handy!
Switches over very quickly. And has a good, solid metal build quality. The button is nice and solid as well. One down side is the micro USB cable for power to the device (used for higher power draw devices like portable hdd) was shorter than I like and had to swap it for a longer one.

Best USB Switch on Amazon
Unlike the other plastic pieces of junk that feedback power and burn out, this switch is rock solid. The button works properly and I have not had any more than a .2 second delay, which I get on all of these. I bought the other, weird-named-but-look-the-same USB 2.0/3.0 switches that fail in a few months. Buy this one, you won't be sorry.

Good enough for keyboard and mouse, but can degrade camera stream
This works fairly well, until when I started using my webcam (C920). It would work at 1080p when I plug it in initially, but after a switch, the connection changes to USB 1.1, capping video at 720p. Unplugging and plugging in the camera doesn't fix it. I have to power cycle the switch to get good image quality back. Feels like some firmware bug.Otherwise, keyboard and mouse works fine. The switch could occasionally hang and I have to power cycle the switch. It only happens once a few weeks or months so not terribly annoying.

Must have device for multiple computers
Used for running two computers using one mouse, one keyboard, one microphone and one printer. The switch could be heavier as six cables are attached to it. Or, come kind of mounting would be nice.Works great though!

Surprised at build quality
I was expecting something plastic but this thing has a metal shell. Wasn't expecting that but it works exactly how I need it to. I ordered a 2.0 switch but it wasn't powered properly so my headphones wouldn't work fully. Once I got this one, everything worked perfect between my work and home/game computer.

Great Idea! Not sure it's Windows 7 and USB 2.0 Friendly Though...
Tried running this on an old leftover computer that had Windows 7 and USB 2 slots and at first it would work albeit intermittently and needed some fiddling and rebooting and what not, but soon it just quit responding and ended up burning out the USB slot on the board. It might be a bad unit, or it might have some compatibility issues... Can't say one way or another

Does what it is supposed to wonderfully!
This KVM switch does what it is supposed to and allows us to go back and forth between computer setups with just one keyboard and mouse setup. The only problem is we shouldn't have waited this long to add such a life-saving convenience item to our office.
