OK-so i'm giving the Big Stretch 10 stars. I have stained hardi plank on our house (pretty cool-looks like cedar) and the side that faces the sun is literally like 30' in the air. EVERYTHING ive used for the past 15 years has been absolute crap, and ive tried just about everything - i have some contractor friends and they suggested different stuff (Quad, Dap, on and on). nothing, and repeat nothing, would last more than 2-3 years without shrinking, especially on the sun-side. Talk about a PITA getting up on a ladder 25' in the air with wasps buzzing around your head-all for sealing up some stupid field joints. So, tried Big Stretch about 2 years ago when i read some reviews on line, as i had to put in a new door on the sun-side and figured it would be a good trial. So, used the woodtone and sealed the door and a few other field joints that i saw were bad (again). So fast forward to this summer and after 15 years my soffits and gutters were due for a repaint, so figured i'd re-stain the hardi while i was at it. Checked to see how the Big S was holding up and it seriously looked as good as the day i laid it down. I could TOTALLY tell the field joints that i had put B S in and the ones that i had used Quad. This stuff is the real deal for Hardi Plank (i don't know if hardi swells/contracts more than regular siding, but if can work on my application, anything else should be no problemo!) ZERO stars on ordering it from this vendor as i had everything set to go - ladders out, etc....opened the box and white!!! definitely not cool. Woodtone isnt even close, so bad mistake on their part as the tube nozzle is the caulk color. So Big Stretch max stars plus a few-vendor, nada for wrong color!

I own a log home. This caulk is long lasting!!!

Takes a very long time to dry, can not paint right away. Takes days to dry in normal temps.

Works well. Easy to use.

This is the best caulk for log siding, log homes and exterior grade wood on your home. Holds up well to high UV and harsh winter weather conditions experienced at high altitude in Wyoming. As a bonus it is available in many color choices to color match your work with existing stain. I am replacing all the other caulk on my home with Big Stretch.

This stuff works. I have a log home which is always in need of caulking if some sort. The other day I used this to caulk over a 3” gap where water was getting behind my deck.

if you have a log cabin - or any building that needs caulking due to shrinking and expanding - this is the product.....easy to use, water clean up, choice of colors....I have used inside and outside, Sikkens over (stain for logs) and uncovered for our log cabin in northern BC Canada. Holds through the worst winter weather around!

Used Big Stretch to fill in gaps and seams in our log cabin. Easy to work with and the stain adhered to the caulk with no problems. Excellent product.
