MettlerPoly Sheen Thread Case w/96 Spools, multiple

Mettler is a good quality machine embroidery thread. This collection gives me a great range of colors. It also included the color chart for ALL of Mettler's embroidery threads. Great to have to know the in-between colors I may want/need. Note: There is confusing language in the descriptions. These threads are polyester, not cotton. They have a sheen like all machine embroidery threads do.

What do I know about thread? Nothing. However, my wife got a new sewing machine and I put together a new sewing table for her and for one of the holidays I bought this Mettler collection of thread which was a hit! I did learn that Mettler makes quality thread, but that's all I knew; every color you need is right in this collection.

Nice selection for the price

Inside paper label arrived ripped. It identifies where each color goes back in the case. Could not get anyone to replace just the paper. LOVE the sample board of all colors available. It is made with the actual threads—very helpful. Would also like to be able to purchase this case empty to house my future individual thread purchases.

Funzionale

96 Garnrollen mit lauter verwendbaren Farben sind schon mal gut. Immerhin kostet eine Rolle im Einzelverkauf je nach Anbieter ab € 2 aufwärts,somit ist ein ordentlichen Mengenrabattpreis gegeben.Hinweis: Polysheen ist jetzt nicht ein sog. Universal-Garn, sondern hat seinen Platz speziell bei prägnanten Nähten und ist möglicherweise auch als Stickgarn verwendbar (habe da keine Erfahrung).Die Garne haben einen schönen Glanz, sind aber keine Glitzergarne. Ich habe den Koffer anhand meiner eigenen Erfahrung mit dem Polysheen Garn bestellt (näht sich gut mit meiner Nähmaschine) und gehe davon aus, daß bei einem Markenprodukt die Qualität konsistent ist.Die Farbkarte ist der absolute Hammer. Richtig schön mit echtem Garn. Kein Wunder, daß die Hersteller allesamt für solche Karten durchaus ordentlich Geld verlangen.Die Praktiker unter uns Hobbyisten werden den Koffer garantiert auch nicht wegwerfen. Nicht nur, daß er real wirklich besser aussieht, sondern qualitativ auch einen Richtwert setzt. Entsprechend ist auch der Einzelverkaufspreis.

Die Farbauswahl von der Menge, der Intensität und der Qualität ist ein Traum. Der Koffer war ein Geschenk an meine Mutter für ihre Stickmaschine. Super Preisleistungsverhältnis und sehr schnelle Lieferung.
