Grace Learns about Yalda (Learn about different cultures ( Persian ))

All of the books in this series are great! They are helpful to give an overview of the holiday to your kiddos. I like to send them to school with my daughter to share her culture with her class.

Loved having a book about Yalda. The story and images are sweet and appreciated just wish the quality was more like a book than a coloring book. Happy to support an Iranian regardless though.

I love teaching my little about his mixed heritage and love to learn myself as well. This book looked great and the concept is great however the writing is beyond basic. There is not plot, theme, nothing but just words that read simply and not that good. Did he learn about Yalda? Yes. Did he get bored half-way reading it? Yes, this is the first book of it's kind that he said, mommy, I learned about Yalda now you can give the book away! (he has hundreds of books and this is the first!). In conclusion: It serves it's purpose barely, not worth it to have it in print. Googling it would have worked just as well and it would be free!

My two toddlers absolutely love this book. It's one of their most favorite bed time books. The illustrations are beautiful and the story is very well written and engaging. A great book to teach your kids about Yalda! Highly recommended!

My 3.5 old just loves this book! Even my husband loves it too! He didn't know about the story of Yalda and he loves learning about it and teaching this tradition to our daughter!

The story is well suited for the preschool aged kids, and has colorful illustrations. If you want to introduce the Yalda holiday to small kids, this is a good resource.

It’s fine. Good to have Especially when you are so far from home. But it does have a poor funny grammar.
