Review: Good Stuff, And Only Slightly More Expensive When On Sale - I bought a case of fairly generic synthetic motorcycle oil but a friend convinced me to pay twice as much for Motul. I change the oil once a year, so even though the oil is much more expensive per ounce, it's only a few dollars more per year and insignificant compared to paying the dealership to mess up an oil change for you. I didn't notice that the shifting was any better with Motul, but it wasn't any worse. After a week or so, it seemed maybe a little better. I have no way to quantify if it's better for the engine compared to the full synthetic oil I've been using, but it's red! That's gotta be good for at least 5 horsepower. I just bought a second jug because it's 25% lower in price, making the snobby red Bavarian oil only 1.5 times the cost of the plain Jane US synthetic motorcycle oil, so I stocked up. I like having the supplies ready so I can do an oil change whenever I like. Wait for the discounts if you're price sensitive and Motul isn't much more expensive per oil change, and the spout on the jug is probably worth the extra money.

Fantastic oil. Used it in a Ducati Streetfighter V4SP. I swear my gas mileage has gone up at least 3 mpg. Considering the awful mileage and a small tank, this is fantastic. Zero issues running it. Shifting is perfect. Running is quiet.
