Perfect, High Quality
SO glad that Impossible Project saved instant photography, but they were unreliable and defective sometimes. After rebranding back to Polaroid, I found the quality to improve. They are also a touch more affordable now, still really pricey, but hey better than the old $24 price tag. Iโm still really stingy with using these because a $2.40 photo BETTER be something that I really care about lol. These packs work perfectly in my vintage 80s/90s Polaroid 600. Definitely keep unopened packs of these in the fridge to preserve them and prevent heat damage/exposure.

Brings back so many memories!
We found an old Polaroid camera we haven't use in years. My son was intrigued so he bought some film and (after some small difficulty - Not the fault of the film pack.) we started cranking out a few instant photos! What a blast from the past!!! It reminds you quickly though how every photo is precious, when you don't have unlimited film, you don't want to waste it on just anything. You also become much more appreciative that photography used to be much more of an art and a skill. The Polaroid camera we have has limited exposure adjustments so you have to be careful to have plenty of light for every picture, the built in flash is barely helpful. Motion blur is also a consideration. Over all it's lots of fun especially for this generation that has never seen anything like it. ;-)

Really nice but nothing special
People rave about using the 600 series film in newer Polaroid instant cameras like the Now and Now+ among others. Honestly, I got it thinking that thereโd be some difference in exposure, color, or both. There is but itโs almost totally negligible. If I were to do it again I would make my purchase based on price, not hype because the i-Type and 600 series are basically the same with the i-Type not having a built in battery (because it doesnโt need one because the camera itself is its battery). The image quality is nice and I like it. I ended up mixing up some 600 series color photos with some i-Type photos and I could not tell you which was which and this was only like a day ago. I like the vintage aesthetic of the packaging and how thin it it. I know the new i-Type packaging also goes for that same aesthetic but thereโs just something about the i-Type presentation, when compared to the old 600 series film, that makes it obvious theyโre trying to make the new stuff look like itโs cool 90s stuff which I object to as a person who grew up as a child in the 90s and remember them fondly. Anyway, the photo quality is great. Maybe the 600 does get a little underexposed and youโll want to keep that aperture open just a little longer if you can in low light. Clarity is what youโd expect from a 600 series. Itโs crisp enough but not crisp. By that I mean you see whatโs happening in the photo but it looks like an 80s/90s Polaroid which is a great aesthetic. In the end I think that your decision is going to be based on your technical knowledge of how instant cameras work, the hobby itself, and whatโs cheapest. If youโre a casual instant photographer then Iโd stick with the film your camera recommends not because it gives better results but because you may end up spending more money for something that you canโt even see the difference in.
