Cute little cake. My english bulldogs first birthday and she loved her cake. The cake is hard, but she liked gnawing on it. Would recommend it

The cake is VERY HARD and my dog isn’t interested at all even after I cut it into smaller pieces. It’s also not worth the price given how small it is.

For a mass produced generic safe dog birthday cake delivered instantly the 13 oz (“larger” size) is ok. The small size doesn’t bother me since it’s to be given as a treat & not as a meal. Hardness doesn’t bother me because it needs to be preserved to not spoil. From reviews, I learned you can microwave it & heat it up to soften it before serving. I luckily got the 13 oz blue on sale for $22 (current promo for 13 oz blue & pink ones—of course unisex wasn’t included in that & that’s the one I really needed lol). If I paid double that—regular price... I would’ve been very upset. I have 2 dogs with birthdays a year and day apart so I celebrate their birthdays together (my male mini doxie turning 5 & female english bulldog turning 4). My only issues is with the advertising. My cake was supposed to be blue but it’s green (guess I got my unisex cake after all lol!). Also, there are not as many bone treats around side rim of cake as advertised. I really think they should post a real picture of product on listing—not just in reviews for buyer to research and find. Maybe people would be less upset if they had the realistic version to view prior to purchasing. I wish I would’ve just paid the $31 for “bone appetite” on Etsy... I could’ve gotten a larger cake with cute ribbon and personalization, made to order, fresh, cute af & larger and could’ve supported a small business owner. Use her! You do need to provide celebration date & schedule the delivery. Her dog birthday cakes are made fresh and will spoil after x amount of time. Also, needs a min of 5 days ordered prior to the intended celebration day... read her listing on Etsy & order there or order direct off her website. I’ll be using her next year. Wonder how this Bubba Rose product is doing on Chewy (review wise). They sell it there on Chewy now too. It’s not horrible for a instant dog birthday cake but there’s better options out there for the money. It was nice of them to include 1 two cent blue birthday candle too I guess...

Cute , my dogs loved it but it was smaller than I thought

I was a little concerned when reading some of the reviews - mainly the ones where they said it made their dog sick. As most of the reviewers point out, the cake is very hard. That's understandable given the shelf life. I took the advice of one of the reviewers and heated it up in the microwave before cutting it. That did the trick. It may have been a little pricey, but it was my puppy's first birthday and I wanted to celebrate it. The cake was adorable and plenty big for two dogs. I my puppy and her cousin some of the cake (not all of it) and they loved it! It's been two days and no ill effects. Definitely recommend!

update***. Company reached out to me and offered a refund. Told them Yes - They never processed the refund. Talk about a horrible company. DO NOT BUYb FROM THEM This was so hard, harder than any biscuit or any other dog treat I have ever bought. It was a brick. "frosting" shattered when trying to cut. DO NOT BUY !!!! horrible quality. Threw in the garbage because couldn't feed to my dogs.

Appearance is cute but it’s hard as a rock.
