Melrose Place: The Complete Series

This show - along with the original 90210 - defined my teen/college years in the 90s. I'm not going to review the show itself; my only complaint about the content is that no one has remastered it to Blu Ray with the original music. The original Charmed was upgraded to Blu Ray and the original music was restored. I'd happily pay more. My review is about the package itself. The cardboard box on the outside is colorful and representative of the show as a whole. What I do not care for are the two clam shells on the inside. The first shell houses the discs for for the first three seasons. The second, larger clam shell houses the discs for seasons four through seven. For the sake of not damaging the discs, a better package would have been seven single-season clam shells. ****For those saying they are missing a disc. Season Six Volume 2 - there are two Disc 2's. One of them mislabeled. *** I highly recommend opening the package right away and checking for discs that have become dislodged during shipping. It happens. Second, take out and examine every single disc for damage. Despite a few dislodged discs, none of my discs are damaged.

I am happy so far. I read the reviews before making this purchase, but had enjoyed the show as a teen and wanted to see it again. So I took the chance and bought it. None of my boxes were damaged on the outside, a few pieces were broken inside and a couple DVDs got loose but that happens with all DVD cases. I opened all of them up to make sure the correct discs were there. All of them looked good with no scratches. I have just started watching it and am having 90's flash backs. Yes the first season is cheesy but it gets better.

My daughter loved this series. Now she can watch it any time she wants.

Finally got my hands on the complete series….now I can watch it whenever I want!!!

Melrose Place is a series created by Darren Star and produced by Aaron Spelling. It follows a group of 20-somethings living in an apartment complex called Melrose Place, in Los Angeles, California. We get a look into the lives of the residents. The show stars Thomas Calabro (as Dr. Michael Mancini), Josie Bissett (as Jane Mancini), Andrew Shue (as Billy Cambell) and of course Heather Locklear (as Amanda Woodward) I never imagined watching a soap opera kind of show but I was very glad I did. I fell in love with Kimberly's tricks, Amanda's attitude, Sydney's need for attention and everything else tied into the show! Melrose Place features great writing and plots that'll stick with you. How could you not watch? It has relationships, explosions, asylums, murder, and of course a lot of revenge. This is a can't miss series!

Ten disc/DVDs do not play. I received a replacement and the same disc/DVDs do not play. Season 6, volume 1, disc 2-3, season 6, volume 2, disc 2-3, season 7, volume 1, disc 2-4 and season 7 volume 2, disc 2-4 DO NOT play. Buyer beware!

I just received late yesterday afternoon so I haven't watched any of it yet but I'm writing this review because I'm unhappy with the packaging of the item. The box it came in was good but the DVDs were wrapped so tight in a cling wrap that it squished and wrecked the cardboard case for the 1st season, and the 3rd season. It's kind of strange that the first 3 seasons come in these cardboard cases since the others are plastic like most dvd cases. I'm disappointed with that because of the cost of the item.

Super fast shipping from this seller. This hard to find collection arrived in perfect condition. It's been fun rewatching this series from the very beginning.
