Bought this last minute because I needed something that would pack flat. This item is the epitome of efficient design and function. The setup and breakdown is under 30 seconds as there is only 1 locking pin that gets removed/replaced. The panels are all hinged together and fold flat into a size of a small laptop. The bag it comes with is sturdy and simple. One of the side benefits of this versus a traditional fire ring or fire pit is that it radiates more heat due to its lower height. I used it at a camp out with about 385 other people. Everyone remarked how nice it looked but commented that it put out more heat, further because of the lower walls of the fire ring. Note that due to the fact the fire will be directly on the ground as this ring has not bottom, you need to be wary of flare ups on surrounding grass the first spot you use it. Afterwards the immediate area around the ring (2”-6”) would have burned off already leaving you with a decent firewall. The shadows coming off the stamped trees is a nice touch. Excellent value and a couple of guys bought one while sharing the warmth right on the spot

I LOVE this fire ring. If you’re backpacking it’s very heavy but if you’re hiking a mile or so it’s fine. If you’re camping and moving your gear by vehicle this is perfect! It’s very durable and practical and it breaks down to a great size. Also the detailing on the side is the sweetest touch when it’s glowing from the fire at night and casting animal shadows on the ground. Very sweet.

I was pleasantly surprised with this. Bought it for dirt track races so we don't have to haul an old truck rim for a fire pit. Every side was connected except the one you connect to complete fire ring. The pin to connect is right there. Takes 10 seconds. Can manipulate it into many shapes. Kept everything inside well. Collapsed easily and the carry case is convenient. Slightly bigger than a typical campground fire ring and the trees on each side piece make it nice looking.

The ring is great, perfect for camping. I would have given a 5 but when it arrived the storage bag zipper was broken and the carrying handles were both ripped, and the slide pin that locks it all together is missing. May seem like a lot of problems but I bought it for its fire ring capabilities and that’s what it does, very feel I might add.

This works great while camping and doesn't have rocks or soft enough ground to dig. The exterior side does show wear of paint peeling sonim not sure why they were painted or seal coated if that's what is peeling. Otherwise, easy to unfold, put together, and fold up for storage.

I cannot say enough good things about this collapsible fire ring. I purchased it for a camping/festival trip with my daughter, a friend, and her daughter. Not only does the tree silhouette look cool when its lit up but it keeps everything contained which was rule #1 while under a burn ban due to drought conditions. The paint didn’t peal off like some reviewers stated, but we also didn’t have a 6 foot bonfire visible from space! Mountain pies, s’mores, and ambiance was our goal. I also love that it is so compact when folded up and has a storage bag. I’m very happy with this fire ring and will definitely be using it on more adventures!

Perfect size and super convenient to transport in its own carrying case. Buy it!

Immediately destroyed coating after just one use. It worked pretty well for its purpose but we did have the fire "escape" a couple times. I would recommend sinking it in the ground when you use it. Fold up nice and the carrying case is nice. Very solid weight and construction except for the coating.

It packs very compact and it works great when your car camping. If the campsite doesn't have a fire ring, this is a must have item.

Bought this because I was looking for a compact firepit to keep in my trailer for when I go in the bush. Turns out this is the perfect solution for me. It packs nice and small, is made from pretty decent metal, should last a long time and the fact that 1 panel can be removed to make it smaller is AWESOME because it was a bit too big to fit my cooking grille, I took the one section out and it was perfect!!

use this on many camping trips althought heavy it got backpacked out and was super useful
