Fits but under chin is not adjustable unless hooked to the leash.

My pup is still getting used to wearing this lead, but it almost transforms her entire demeanor as opposed to when she is wearing a harness. We have done a few walks, very short ones, to start getting her used to having it on outside the house. My only issue is her constantly getting tangled in her leash, as she is flexible enough to bring her paw up and over where the lead connects to her leash which makes for an uncomfortable walking experience for her, and definitely requires patience for untangling her for me. The company was super nice in sending me the correct size after I ordered the wrong one by accident (the measurements are tricky!) and asked me to donate the misfit to a shelter (they were appreciative). She's pretty calm about the whole thing, but we're still learning that it's definitely not a great idea to book it after the neighborhood dogs to play while wearing this, as she has definitely done a complete flip as a result. Definitely works better for us with a standard leash as opposed to a retractable one, as the retractable one will almost always be applying pressure unless i measure out x amount and lock it (which sort of defeats the purpose of a retracting leash, no?). Overall, super happy with it, and looking forward to when she's more tolerant of it so we can start some manners on the leash!

I would write this a five out of five. The second one of Onde. The dog is absolutely manageable. I can actually walk with my dog now. They don’t like it in the beginning. It takes a few walks for them to get used to it. It’s amazing amazing amazing if you have a dog that pulls.

I have 2 huskies, bought one for each as they pull hard when walking. Well, with the rains we had this year I did not get a chance to try them for several weeks. To my surprise, I must have very small dogs as neither fit my huskies. They easily pull these collars off their snouts. So make sure you buy them small, test them immediately and if they are not so snug you think they can't breathe, return them for smaller ones. Don't be like me struggling to get use out of them by putting them back on several times during the walks as I can't get them tight enough to do their job.

Say this product and thought it might work better then the gentle lead I got at pet smart. Shipped quickly and arrived quickly. Used it for a walk today and my 9month old German shepherd didn’t try and fight it or try and take it off like the other one I gave. Fits good and has more room if I need to extend it. Awesome product!

This style fits well and does not suffer from the problems of similar products where when the dog pulls straight back, the straps come off. That said, after one very powerful pull, the lower half got into my dog’s mouth and he chewed through it before I could fix it. :(

My pup always used to tug and drag me whenever I took him for a walk, but this thing works so well. No longer am I being the one taken for a walk 😤 I have now regained control. The difference is truly night and day and walking is no longer a dreaded game of tug of war 10/10 would recommend.

Buy the small for your 50 pound dog.
