Sturdy and beautiful
This piece of furniture is sturdy and beautiful. It took awhile to put together but me and my son took our time. When I received the box, pieces were missing but Homecharm sent me replacements within the next day. Take you Homecharm for making this solution run smoothly. This sideboard will look great in my kitchen.

Great customer service!
Yes the cabinet is great. Instructions, easy to follow, looks nice, studier than I thought it would be. But what I give 5 stars to is the customer service. I was sent 2 boxes of the same pieces but after contacting the company who were quick to get back with me, listen to what I had to say and quickly sent me the correct parts. I bought a second one because of the positive experience

Decent product marred by terrible assembly instructions
Assembled this is a fine piece - not remarkable, but it doesn't need to be. Seems pretty solid, and some of the design is actually great (really like the use of screws instead of nails to hold the back on, though a power screwdriver or drill is a must to get it done in anything resembling a timely fashion). For people familiar with who have assembled flat pack furniture, nothing in the assembly itself is particularly difficult. All of the holes are pretty well machined and line up where they are supposed to, and most of the assembly is pretty simple. Hanging the doors is a little challenging without a second pair of hands or something to prop them up on, but overall it is pretty well designed and manufactured. However what SHOULD discourage folks that are a little inexperienced assembling furniture are that the instructions are outright terrible - step 5 combines at least 6 different assemblies in a single chaotic diagram, when it really should be a couple of distinct steps (really easy to miss a piece if you aren't paying a lot of attention). The text descriptions make it seem like they were paying by the letter and trying to save money, and are pretty worthless. To make this even worse, there are a couple of pieces that could assemble in a couple different orientations, but have only one actually correct orientation - the instructions do a terrible job removing ambiguity. The manufacturer would do well to look at the instructions published by their competitor Sauder for an example of very clear and helpful guidance. For example, there is a square piece that happens to have two tiny holes in one corner that aren't at all well represented in the diagram. If you put that corner in the back instead of the front you can't install the door stop, which you don't find out until the end. Your options are either to take a bunch of stuff apart or drill new holes yourself (I chose the latter, which turned out fine). Ideally, instead of symmetrical drill holes, one orientation would be offset more than the other so that it would *only* be possible to install it correctly (this is what better manufacturers tend to do), but baring that, much more obvious explicit instructions would have been very helpful. So bottom line, a decent product for a good price IF you are comfortable assembling furniture, but if you are at all hesitant to tackle a DIY assembly this isn't a good option

You get what you pay for...
I'm amazed at how expensive nice furniture is. This item turned out to be functional, and suits our needs, but certainly is not great. I thought I was getting a deal, as other white buffets were 3 times the price, but this one is probably 3 times as small. Main takeaways below:1. It's small. Not the size of the traditional buffet I had growing up, maybe 1/2, to 3/4 a traditional buffet.2. It has great instructions, easy to follow, but mine had incorrectly placed holes, and the back panel was about 1/4" too wide. I drilled some new holes, cut the back panel to size with a circular saw, and am happy with the result.I had such frustration having assembling the buffet, then realizing it wasn't pre-drilled correctly. I had to disassemble, drill holes in the correct place, then reassemble. Twice. Each side of the divider was pre drilled incorrectly. The good news, home-charm sent me a partial refund for my trouble. Very good of them. Much happier with the item since I didn't pay full price. So 4 instead of 3 stars. The final product is good, but a bit small, it will work for what we need it for. Maybe in a year or 2 we'll pony up the money for an adult sized (and pre assembled) version, lol. But for now, I think this will do.In the end, we're satisfied with this item.In case it's not in the description, the items final, masses led dimensions are:30 3/4" Tall X 43 1/4" Wide X 15 3/4" Deep.

as the box looked like it had been through a tornado
I was worried when this was delivered, as the box looked like it had been through a tornado, but the parts inside were well packaged and totally pristine when I opened it up! Unlike many flat-packed furniture kits I've experienced, this came with exactly all the parts needed to put it together, and the wooden parts were cut and drilled quite precisely, so there wasn't a need to force it together, all the parts fit just right. You do need a standard size screwdriver to put it together, but nothing exotic.Put together, it is an attractive piece of furniture, felt quite sturdy overall, and perfect for kitchen storage. I also like that the kit came with magnet closures for the doors, so they snap shut nicely and stay closed. Now for the drawbacks: The buffet had a strong and unpleasant paint/chemical smell when it was first opened which I found really awful, although it faded in a couple days. The assembly isn't the quickest or simplest, although with two of us working on it we didn't really have any trouble, it just took about an hour. Unsurprisingly, the buffet isn't solid wood. It's particleboard or fiberboard, with a wood veneer top. This was slightly tricky and time consuming to put together, and isn't made of the highest grade materials, it's true, but it is still well worth the price!

Confusing a little
The instructions were ok just a little confusing. There were a couple of times I put something together backwards because the picture didn't show it very well.

No instructions
The product itself seems to be good. The problem I had with it there was no instructions in the box. It took me about 3 and a half hours to put in together. But I guess it worked out I only had one screw left over when I got finished.
