How do you handle this?** A: I would either install the Jtrim just above the outlet to avoid the intersection - provided it’s fairly low on the wall, or I would cut the j trim and slats to create a hole that allows the slats to fit around the outlet, then use a outlet plate and offsets to hide the cut edges in the slats and jtrim. **Q: Does this work with gladiator accessories?** A: No- it’s 5.5” on center for the slats. I had to send mine back because none of my accessories would work with it. I wish they called this out on the spec, had to return it at much hassle. Regular slat wall panels from uline with 3” centers will work however. **Q: Can it be mounted to concrete walls in a garage?** A: Hi Jason, Yes our Slatwall can be installed on concrete walls. To install on concrete you will need to fasten 2 x 3 in. studs or furring strips vertically at 16 in. using a cement screw and then install your panels to the studs. You will need to use 1-½’’ #8 pan head screws instead of the supplied screws. Thank you! **Q: If you’re doing J trim on the edge of door frame which overlaps with an outlet. How do you handle this?** A: Had a similar situation. Can be handled several ways. If the outlet is tight up against the casing moulding of the door cut the fins of the j trim that extend flush and leave the vertical strip and install j trim flush against moulding. The outlet cover plate will cover and secure trim. Another option depending on distance of outlet to moulding might require changing moulding width to better accommodate proslat trim, slat and outlet and cover plate. Allowed me to transform my 2 1/2 garage to show piece *by N***I on December 7, 2022* Started with one pack as a test in my (6x15’ lean to metal shed)shed. Installed top two feet of shed with white Proslat. Allows more reflective light and I was able to store on hooks all my garden tools as well as saws etc. decluttered my garage. After the deciliter of the garage I purchased 15 pack of Proslat in white and dark gray. Installed it 8’6” high on all four walls (bottom two feet is dark gray and then white all the way up to 8’6” mark. Above the Proslat I installed 88’ around perimeter of garage with New Age pro hd 24” garage wire shelving in black. Great product and great customer service by the company. I have 42 17 gallon and 27 black bins with red tops to store all my stuff from garage floor/ shelves and basement. Neatly labeled and stored in the space above the shelves which 26” high ( to Cieling). Aim is to get everything off garage floor . Last addition is 20 led light from Barrinna, from Amazon, cool white color so I can work on my car. Last addition will be new garage floor in Black, Dark Gray and Lot of RED, my favorite color. Either SwissTrax, Prodeck or Garage flooring brand. Will include pix when done. Proslat is great. Their accessories are the best on the market.
