love these shims
Up till now I have always used the long cedar shims. But when I need a shim thats not tapered these go in. Great for under one side of exterior door or under a window. Wont ever rot.

Like them better then the old shims.
Still aren't perfect. But I will continue to use them. Probably in the future along with tapered shims.

Win some / loose some
By design, these shims are supposed to break. I would rather break them instead of them arriving broken. Prepare yourself for some initial waste.

Received damaged materials
I Received box of shims and could hear pieces rattling around inside. I opened the box to see half of a stack missing and a bunch of loose pieces. After slowly taking shim stacks out of the box one by one a good amount of the shim stackswerent fully stuck together anymore which defeats the purpose of buying a stack. I think a fragile label should have been placed on the box especially as it’s currently below freezing out and these are made of plastic which are even more brittle in the cold.
