Cen-Tec Systems 94698 Quick Click 10 Ft. Hose for Home and Shop Vacuums with Expanded Multi-Brand Power Tool Adapter Set for Dust Collection

Since I have all DeWalt tools, I decided to pick up a Dewalt vacuum to use for dust extraction. I already anticipated a little bit of a problem after watching a bunch of YouTube videos but what I encountered was nothing short of ridiculous. I started ordering adapters, and the cost came to be around $100. That might have been fine, except that most of them didn’t even fit correctly and I spent more time that I want to admit on the phone with DeWalt customer service trying to figure out which adapters I needed. I watched a couple of reviews of the Cen-Tec product and decided to give it a shot. Now I feel stupid for not doing this in the first place. Not only did every adaptor fit perfectly, but the hose was much better for my purpose than the stiff short hose that came with my vacuum. If you’re trying to use your vacuum for dust collection, you would do well to try this product first before going down that adapter rabbit hole.

I can't comprehend why I waited so long to upgrade my shop vac hose. This kit is just fantastic, worth every penny spent. The hose is longer and more flexible than the stock. It attaches easily to my Bosch miter saw and the sander. While I'm mostly using a dust collector, this hose takes care of smaller things and the floor. I can vacuum my garage/shop without moving the shop vac. This was truly a great improvement for me.

I bought this hose and coupler system to help with dust when sanding my kitchen cabinets. It fits a Dewalt orbital sander perfectly and also fit perfectly with my Vac master Beast. If I had to guess, I imagine it was about 80% dust reduction from sanding, which is great for a DIYer. I also realized the extra sizes that they included will fit my regular vacuum hose attachments so now I'll be able to clean my car out with ease because the hose is flexible and easy to maneuver. Happy with the quality so far, it's new though so time will tell. Instructions were not included so I had to reference other review photos but figured it out quickly from there as I was originally trying to connect the wrong side of the hose to the vacuum. Only included this info to help save someone a couple minutes of trouble shooting. Highly recommend this based on functionality, compatibility, and ease of use once connected! Also the couplers click in and out effortlessly once you put them on correctly.

The included adapter fits right into my Rigid shop vac, and the hose is way more flexible, too. The other included adapters fit on all my other tools that kick up a lot of sawdust.

I have been looking at this for awhile, not sure I needed another but this one's different than the one I had. It connects with a click mechanism. It's great to have all of these options to hook up tools and there are enough to dedicate a few of them.

This is a much needed hose for a woodshop. it has enough attachments to hook up pretty much all my handheld tools. I like the quick connect as I can move from one to the other without much issues.

I don’t review often but this is worth it. If you’re debating whether or not it’s worth the money, it is. I have pieces attached to my sander, router, and dowel jointer drill. Being able to quickly snap them into the dust collection line is so easy and convenient

I have a Craftsman wet dry vac and bought this to attach to that and my assorted power tools, mostly Kobalt brand. I was expecting to be able to attach this hose to the Craftsman hose to extend the reach but the Cen-Tec didn't fit on the Craftsman hose so there's no extension option. However, it does connect to the vac directly on the 2 1/4 inch end by fitting snuggly inside port. But, here's the imperfection; the Craftsman has a clip to secure it to the vac and the Cen-Tec doesn't. The other end of the hose connects to the attachments with the blue clip-ins and then to the tool via a rubber opening. The result is that the connection wobbles and isn't secure. However, they included one hard plastic attachment that fits securely into the inside of the tool port.When it's all said and done, the goal is accomplished but the connection points feel like they will deteriorate over time. This seems to be a case of a product trying to be universal when it may be better off by focusing on only the most common products and clipping into place rather than rigging together friction dependent connections. Since this set costs more than some of the tools it attaches to, the question of price comes into play, and tempts me to buy a generic hose and find a couple of rubber sleeves that fit my tools at less than half the price.
