In this current climate, it's important to stay up to date with your health, and that includes your temperature. This was the cheapest thermometer that I found on Amazon, and for less than £6, (when all the others that looked exactly the same were over £10), this was a steal. It comes in a box with all the information on it, and inside includes a manual which tells you how to use the thermometer based on where it's going (i.e under the arm, under the tongue, elsewhere), and gives you an idea of what an average temperature should be. You press it once and it will display your last recorded temperature, followed by the standard temperature of 37 degrees, and then it will say "Lo", and that's your cue to put it to use. After a minute, it'll beep three-four times and you can view the little panel for the result. It also comes in a plastic case, which makes it great for keeping safe, clean and out of the way of little hands and germs. In short, it's a great device, cheap and affordable, and does what you expect it to do. Also has prime next-day delivery, so i ordered it and came mid-day the next day.

I ordered this item as I have had symptoms of covid-19 on two occasions recently and have had really high temperatures but had no thermometer to measure them exactly and I have tried to buy them from many pharmacies but they are all out of stock. So I purchased this from Amazon for a very, very reasonable price as it is something, even when or if the covid-19 pandemic has a vaccine, it still is handy to have for any time one feels unwell. I was surprised as it came 14 July and the delivery dates were between 15 and 17 July. So it was a day early and delivery was by DX and it came well packaged with an full receipt. The thermometer comes in a clear hard plastic protective case and temperature's can be taken under the tounge, under the arm or rectal, the latter which I will not be doing). It also stores your previous reading so you can jot them down in a notebook for reference purposes or to track your temperature over time. I obviously tested it and it says you get at least 200 tests from one battery, which is already fixed and can be replaced. However it came up Lo on the LCD display and I assumed this meant low battery. However it still took my temperature under my tongue and it was 36.7c, so as 37.5 is normal, it appears fine and there is no fever present. So I'm unsure if the battery needs to be replaced, I'll just see how it goes as I will only use it if I am 'under the weather'. It's now in my first aid kit. I'm so glad I managed to get one as I have ordered one previously from an online site and it did not arrive and if you, like me need one of these, you must choose this one as the supplier is trustworthy and the cost really is nothing. Your health is important and keeping a check on your temperature is a must.

Cheap and works, but don't drop it. I dropped it once and it now doesn't work at all. Better to buy an ear based one that's more reliable. Still it was very cheap

Exactly what I wanted it to do. Its simplistic designs means that it's very easy to do. I tested it against other thermometers and it's highly accurate. It reads the temperature clearly with its digital display. Having a streamlined shape its very easy to wipe clean and all that for the cost makes it good value for money

Would have given a 0 of I could, dont waste your money or time buying this, never worked since delivered and impossible to get the battery out, rubbish!
