It is all silicone and fits over the computer like a bed-clothe
I bought the white color protector and It fits perfectly over my 15.6 inch ACER. It is all silicone and fits over the computer like a bed-clothe. Laptop doesn't slide on smooth surfaces, the only thing is it makes the lap a bit bigger and it wont fit easily in my bag but i don't really mind as protecting the Laptop from scratches is worth more than fitting it into a bag....will either get a bigger bag in the future or just remove the covertop and put it back on when I get to use the laptop

covertop...
when i first got this i liked it.i have a sony vaio pink touchscreen laptop, and i wanted it to be protected from any and all scratches water ,whatever the case may be.well i thought this product would definitely protect it, but i took the case off a couple months ago and to my surprise there are scratches and scuff marks all over my laptop >.<its soo disappointing to spend 30 something on a case only to have the case itsself scratch my laptop. ive seen other comments where this had happened to them as well. apparently dirt get under the case and everytime u open the case those particles scratch the laptop....the only option i have besides this case is a sticker :(lose lose loseeeee

CAREFUL with New Laptops
A little backstory: I recently purchased a new laptop (Dell Inspiron 5000 Series), and within a week, had lightly tapped it on a back, hinge-side corner, and cracked the screen (rendering ~1/6 of it useless). That's not the issue. I see the weaknesses in the design, but that's just how laptops are designed nowadays. No way around it. But before I get the screen repaired, I want to find some way of protecting it a bit more, especially around the corners. I saw this and thought it might be a better alternative to manufactured corners. On its surface, it is a decent product. It's really just a silicon sleeve. Not revolutionary, but solid. The sizing could be better. It it marked as compatible with ALL computers of a certain screen size but it runs small. If they sold a 16" one, that might have given it a better fit and more room to breathe. But as it is, it did fit with a bit of tugging. Which is bad, now that I think about it.Therein lies the trouble: once I had it properly placed, I went to close it. There was a gap in closing it, as I expected, but combine that with my ultra-thin screen? It was at even greater risk, now at being pressed in at the middle. Then I noticed a convex bugle in the screen itself: the pressure of the silicon pulling on it was unevenly distributed, and it forced the screen to bow outward. I hurriedly removed it and booted up my computer. While it didn't cause any new damage, it affected the cracked area. Now a quarter of my screen is unusable.I can't really advise buying this on the premise of shock protection as the primary use. Sure, it'll absorb some of the shock, and the open-side corners are very well reinforced, but it will likely only absorb shock by dropping something light on top of it from a few inches, or hitting it on one of the facing-you corners or SQUARELY on the back. It won't do much if you drop the entire computer, even a few inches, or hit any of the sides at an angle. The reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one is because I see it might be a better product if recommended mainly for use on an older laptop. One of the things it is toted as in the video is as a way to refresh an aging laptop, and I'd say that's what it's best for. An older laptop with a sturdier screen could likely better distribute the pressure of the silicon pulling on it. But the ultra-thin screens of today? Eh, no.NOTE: it tells you to cut out the ports you will need before you place it on the laptop, but I would advise only doing it AFTER you are satisfied with how it fits. Cut it, and no returns.

Not quite stable when i put it on the table + The cover needs to clean permanently
The cover generally acceptable, but I upset of the following :first, my laptop is not quite stable when i put it on the table.second, the cover needs to clean permanently because there is a lot of threaded stuck and small pieces on its surface which looks very clear in particular with the color white.

I am very satisfied with this purchase
Since I am typing on my laptop that currently has this cover, I am very satisfied with this purchase. I have also received many complements on it. Definitely worth the money.

Looks & fits great!
I had left my laptop on the arm rest of the couch one day, my Husband accidentally knocked it off and cracked the corners right above the hinges. Eventually the areas that had been cracked completely broke off leaving unsightly holes on the corners exposing missing plastic. I ordered this to cover it up and protect my laptop from any possible future falls. It fit my laptop perfectly, it looks really neat and covered any visible damage from before!

Great Protection For computer!
I just received this cover today so I don't know about the durability of it...and I got white so it may not stay to clean...we will see...however it is very thick and would be great protection if dropped...I also have a pink laptop...so I was trying to neutralize all the pink since I now wished I would have gotten a different color laptop...I have a sony VAIO Around 15 inches and it fits perfectly...The only thing I don't like is the kangaroo on the front... but its ok I guess...still glad I purchased it.

Covered by the cover.
It does the job. A great cover. Easy to clean. However it maybe tight and causes minor scratches on the inside.
