I also purchased the Adopted frost case from Google Store at half price ($20 * 50% = $10) and I like this one better, so it is staying on my phone despite my high hopes for the case costing 2.5 times as much at full retail.1) Looks great on the phone. Even my 5 year old daughter commented that the phone looks "really cool" with the case on, and she's never commented on a phone's looks before. By contrast, the Adopted frost case looks less polished2) Provides grip. The case has a somewhat sticky feel which gives traction to an otherwise slippery piece of fragile electronics. By contrast, the Adopted frost case is slick (it's a harder TPU, but thinner, so doesn't seem like it'd provide any additional protection for the hardness).3) Fits the phone great. I personally have had no issues with the split volume buttons - they work fine for me. The cutouts are all in the right spots and great size. The Adopted frost case, by contrast, has worse cutout accuracy: the fingerprint scanner hole is very off center, and the laser focus cutout actually obstructs the laser focus.Negatives:1) Doesn't provide much protection. I don't have much confidence it's prevent dents / cracks on a fall of more than a couple feet. Especially the lip that rises over the front of the screen is rather thin compared to similar TPU cases I've had in the past and it fits loosely so I don't think it provides much protection for the screen of the phone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Looks good on the Nexus 6P phone *by J***X on Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2015* Color: The case is truly clear and not frosty. Looks good on the phone.Fit: Fits the new Nexus 6P phone properly with all the cutouts at right places. Proper opening for laser focus as well.Quality: TPU case should protect the phone from scratches, which is purpose of TPU case. TPU cases provides little shock protection, but in general I am careful user of the phone and I prefer the phone slimness to the shock protection capabilities.Buttons: Buttons are aligned. Though the phone has elongated volume button and case is having two tabs for volume, it does not impact the phone volume function. Could NOT do the double click on power button to open the camera, but I am OK if that does not work for me. Not sure if any other cases will support that unless case has opening and expose the power button directly.Update on Power Button: I re applied the case making sure power button of phone is well aligned with the case power button slot; and I can now do the power button double click to activate camera. So the minor announce of something not working has gone too :) ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars I received this case yesterday and I like it for the most part *by Z***. on Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2015* Update: I've used this case for a couple days now and I can't get over the misaligned buttons and will be looking for a different case. If I put the phone in the case button side first they will line up but after a few hrs of use they are back to being halfway off and difficult to press and don't feel like a button anymore. Plus the case squeaks almost every time along the left side of the phone when I push the buttons; almost as if the shape of the case doesn't match the phone along that side.I was in need of a case as the phone is really slick and I felt like I was going to drop it every time I picked it up. I may get something else down the road but for now this will do.Pros:- Not sticky- Not too bulky- Adds grip- Doesn't block any sensors or camera- Fits well for the most part minus the buttons (refer to below). Screen shots work.Cons:- Buttons do not line up. They seem to be placed more towards the back of the phone so the buttons only fall halfway into the pocket. They work but they don't feel like buttons and are hard to press.- Case squeaks when you grip the phone to push the buttons- There appears to be a yellow tint around the edges of the case at certain angles.
