I am a life long to-do list maker/note taker and I have always loved these little doodle pads. They are generally geared towards kids, but that hasn't stopped me from picking up a few for myself. I actually like that this one has rainbow colors instead of the normal dull pea green. It adds a little life to a to-do list and is probably more fun for children. Yes, it is true that these are not super bright! But none of these are and it is just not part of the technology of these products. It does not personally bother me since a desk lamp is more than adequate lighting to see what is on my list. However, keep that in mind when purchasing and take a look at other customer images to be sure this is the right tool for you (or toy for your kiddo).My favorite part: I love the lock feature so my notes do not get accidentally deleted. I have leaned on these before and been grateful for this feature, or sad when I realized I had not put it in the locked setting :/My least favorite part: The holster for the pen at the base feels a little tricky for the pen removal. It feels like if I moved it wrong or tugged too fast, I might break the pen nib. It may just be me. The upside to this is the company provides a lengthy cord to keep the pen attached to the pad. So, basically, I just use that to be safe and don't shove the pen in its holster. I will also never lose the pen this way.The bad news is, now I have to get a second one because I am in love with doodling on the first one and will need another for making my lists on ;)

Great gift for kids!

Ok ok I do not think my son would agree with the title of this review. However, he isn't in the room to say otherwise. Personally we use this for my son to practice this spelling words no mess no fuss and saving the tress 1 piece of paper at a time.

My granddaughter like this a lot and plays with it every day the only thing she doesn't like is the string on it needs to be a bit longer for her but other than that it's good so far

The board is good, however, the writing is not very bright.

Muy ligera, cumple su función, hecho en falta la opción de poder guardar los dibujos o una opción que impida escribir cuando no se utiliza, ya que al apoyar cualquier cosa, o simplemente guardarlo en su caja, se escribe. Por lo demás, es muy ligero y sorprende su facilidad y buen uso para su precio y ligereza. Yo lo he comprado como regalo a un niño, pero tambien se puede colgar en la nevera para hacer listas de compra o dejar mensajes, lleva un cordón para atarlo a su lapiz y no perderlo y un imán paea que puedas pegarlo en la nevera

Lo tenía guardado para dárselo en un viaje. Cuál ha sido mi sorpresa que cuando lo he abierto, no funciona, y parece que me enviaron uno que alguien ya devolvió, porque teñí rayas de intento de escribir. Ha sido tirar el dinero, ya no lo devuelven, y mi hijo que estaba esperando la pizarra se ha quedado súper triste. No es justo recibir algo en mal estado.

Ya he comprado varios, uno para mi hijo y 2 para regalar en cumples.El rango de edad para sacarle partido es amplio, porque los más pequeños lo usaran para dibujar y los no tan pequeños para usar como hoja en sucio para hacer operaciones de las tareas de Mates para el cole o el instituto.Me gusta para regalo porque es original, es útil y ocupa poco.
