an easy way to feed the birds without a feeder

Not a single bird for over a month. Decided to throw out, but lo and behold, a bird stopped by for a snack.Eventually, more birds came and now the rectangular bird seed feeder is nearly gone. Certain, small birds like it. Baby birds in a nearby nest just learned to fly and loved the seeds! It was especially nice watching them flutter around and it served as a convenient first food source.Easy to hang. You don't need strong branch, mine hangs on a palm plant.I would recommend, just be patient - birds will show up.

The product was intact. No breakage during transit. The birds like it!

Attracts a good variety of birds. Warning: raccoons love it too. Have to bring it inside overnight or it is gone the next morning. Price is great from what I’ve seen in stores. Will definitely order more.

I received Kaytee Gourmet Bird Bar in a different packaging than showed on amazon, so I'm including pictures in case it's a different product.The treat bar came with some loose seeds in the package (a little over a tablespoon), which is not a huge issue as I just added them to my regular bird feeder, but I thought I'd mention so that you'd take care when opening the package - loose seed may come flying creating a mess.The bar looked good - no mold or any other visible issues; it also smelled really good - like a trail mix bar :) You can tell that it's a high quality product.It comes with a plastic loop on top - ready to hang.I had no problem hanging it near my other feeders and the birds discovered it very quickly: we had chickadees and cardinals feasting on it within 30 minutes of my hanging it! It rained heavily the very next day and I was worried that the bar would come apart, but - surprisingly - it stayed intact!The birds are happy and so am I :)Would recommend and repurchase.

I hung this up for the birds a few days ago. We have several bird feeders that we keep filled. This one doesn't have a hanger, but it does have a plastic piece that I was able to attach to an empty hanger that we had. It arrived mostly in tact with minimal loss of bird seed. It lasted a few days before it was emptied. Bird Approved! And possibly squirrel approved, too! We have a lot of them as well.

I hung this outside for the birds in our tree and they have been all over it! They seem to really like the sunflowers!My packet did not have a wire fastener so I had to use a string. I tied the string to the plastic ring at the top of the bar.
