I would say go for a out of brand plastic box for this price.My family member bought this without my knowledge and when I looked at the product, I felt we are paying a premium for the brand than anything else. (can be said for any lego sets too).So if you dont mind about the brand go with any generic storage boxes than this overpriced rectangular box.The product itself is sturdy and smooth to close. Would not recommend to get it though.

I am not sure how this product is supposed to be a lunch box (unless for pre-k). Super useful as Lego storage box for small parts and as a container to do smaller builds. Its shape and colors make it also a nice display container to have.

I got this lunchbox to bring my fruit to work in a fun and geeky way.Having always been a lego guy since I was a child, I found this lego lunchbox a great feature.It conveniently will fit an apple, a pear and a kiwi, but as some other reviewers have called out, the box is a bit short, which means that when the fruit is a bit bigger, it can cause the box not to completely close to the bottom, but be half closed - since the closing "mechanism" is sliding the inner box fully into the outer box, this isn't a very big problem though as it is still closed and doesn't open up easily in your backpack as the 2 layers are fit together very tightly and as such you really have to pull them from each other to open them (or watch as the 2 parts separate very slowly if you just hold the top part).Overall I do recommend this great box and it comes in a lot of colors, I have the black for myself and the red for my other half, 4 stars for the slight mis-sizing that it is half an inch too small for some of the bigger apples out there.

I bought these for my oil paints since a cardboard box wasn't going to cut it, but let's be serious about this size. No reviewer is underestimating their measurements, You're getting a good 2 1/4" x 7 3/4" of usable space. And set aside space, I don't understand how anyone could use this as a lunch box; it doesn't clasp shut! If you hold it upside down, the top slides off! Now if you want to give your little one packaged snacks in their playroom fine, but if you put this in their book bag and they hold it the wrong way, everything is going to fall out.Now, I would definitely buy this again - for storage at my desk. I might buy another for my pens or paint brushes. It looks adorable, it's a nice red and it's well made. Legos just make me smile.

Bought for grandson’s birthday. He really enjoys legos. He has been having fun carrying his lunch/snacks in a lego.

I bought this to use as a storage container for my sons small legos. A little smaller than I expected but I love the color and size. It has the lego logo. At first I was wondering why it was being sold as a lunch box. But I could see how it could used for one. Perfect size to fit into a backpack. I would purchase this again.

Perfect for our need

I do love these lego boxes and both my boys have several of them and will probably need several more. I just wish they were a little cheaper. Like $20 instead of 40. Other than that, i love them! They are beautiful, bright colored and good quality.

Very small looks bigger in pictures not worth £15 wouldn’t pay £5 for it smaller than a lunch box
