SolidWorks Basics: A Project Based Approach (Volume 1) Illustrated Edition

I find this book to be a fun and effective approach to learning SolidWorks. The step by step presentation, filled with explanations, button images, and screen shots, lets you absorb the material at your own pace, and the instructional videos (accessed by scanning in QR codes) illustrate key sequences. The primary projects walk you through designing Minion-like figures made out of LEGOs. Other projects emphasizing materials issues, manufacturing tolerances, and fit, form, and function are covered, too. The author's enjoyment of the program and subtle sense of humor are icing on the cake.

Book will not work on my kindle. Tells me it is an invalid item and to download it again. Downloaded it again and it tells me the samething again. 45 bucks shot to hell!!!

This book would be great for self-paced learning or as a text for a course in 3D parametric feature-based modeling.

It's a nice tutorial book to learn SolidWorks.The funny thing is that you are taught to create a Minion built by LEGO parts!I love it!
