Party Essentials 6.5" Plastic Serving Tongs, 8-Count, Black

Ordered these at the last minute for casual reception with "costco" food platters, and glad I did--worked well and looked nice!

However any plastic can be damaged by the heating coils in your dishwasher. I learned this because my current Bosch dishwasher doesn't have a "drying" cycle, the metal pots and ceramics dishes dry from the heat they absorb from the washwater. The plastic doesn't dry at all---but it also remains undamaged, compared to my Frigidaire dishwasher which regularly damaged my plastic storage containers and occasionally plastic utensils. So, my suggestion is to either hand-wash plastic dishes, containers, and utensils, or turn off the "dry" cycle of your dishwasher (or choose a cycle which "air dries"). We lost one we had gotten from GFS. Had it for the longest time, they were put favorite tong! Got these as replacements and they're just as good! Small, sturdy, perfect for bacon, flipping tortillas etc. Will buy again if we happen to loose these ones too!

I didn't think I'd need so many tongs and then I started laying out the trays...super glad I made this purchase! I ran these guys through the dishwasher and they held up fine. The plastic feels sturdy. They are a good size for mini appetizers and fruit/veggie trays. They naturally open wide enough to fit around a regular-sized muffin as well. These will be a staple of my "party drawer".

Works great, will pluck dilly beans and the medium size pickles from a quart jar with ease and are dishwasher safe.

I buy these and use them until they can't be used anymore, then buy more. Have one that is easily 8 years old. Toss in dishwasher, no problem. Turn bacon in a hot skillet, no problem. Cheese out of a bag, veggies off a tray, whatever.

For being so inexpensive, these are really good quality! I've even put them in the dishwasher a few times and they've come thru just fine! These are perfect for snack and candy buffets, and make great serving pieces for salads and bread. I have 8 of these and I use them daily to serve meals, to flip bacon or sausages (just be careful since they are plastic), and even used them to handle arts and crafts that I didn't want my fingers to stick to! Their smaller size gives them a versatility you don't get with larger tongs, plus they take very little finger strength to maneuver!

I mainly bought these serving tongs because they are perfect for raclette dinners. But to my surprise, since I got them, we ended up using them at each meal; practically everyday. I put these in serving bowls with bread rolls, cheese platters, fruit slices and veggies ...they can be used for so many different things ! No need to worry about hands touching the food anymore. I just put one in each serving dish and problem solved. They have already been in the dishwasher quite a few times and they still look brand new. I'm really impressed with the quality and did not expect to be using them so often. I do recommend buying 👍🏻If my pictures / review were helpful let me know :)

They well for getting pickles out of a jar sauerkraut they've been quite sturdy I've had him a while now I use them everyday for a variety of things.

I highly recommend these 6.5" tongs if you host dinners often.They come in black or white. I preferred black because theyre easier to mask stain -- for example: tomato based pasta sauce stains white. I have a picture next to a smaller 4" ice cube tong for comparison.These are great because theyre unlike other tongs that are metal and have spring loaded tension with a rectangular clasp --- those ones rust quickly and the spring load is really annoying to use especially if the clasp falls out. This one is 100% plastic and just the right tension to use. Little kids can even use them because the tension is perfect for anyone to use.Obviously dishwashable so zero maintenence.The sawtooth tangs allow for excellent grip on foods: salads, noodles/pasta, meats, charcuterie snacks etc... These come in REALLY handy in the kitchen.

They are the perfect size to go along with my Raclette.

The media could not be loaded.  Main reason I bough this was to be use in transferring activities for my toddler. You can’t beat the price. They are strong and has a very good grip. She has used it for food, pompons, and other items. I am very satisfied and I will be ordering more. I am not sure if they are dishwasher safe but they are the same after washing them. They will be also perfect for salads, oic is and parties.
