Nice tires. Will work with a tube as well. Tricky install, see below.
These are quite difficult to install by hand but it can be done. Go to Harbor Freight and get the 24 in. tire tool for $5.00. A LONG LEVER WITH A CURVED END IS ESSENTIAL. Then watch you tube videos on how to do this. Watch about 10 of them till you find the right one that explains which side to start on. IT IS NOT the same process if you start on the inside or outside bead. One is method is impossible and one is VERY DIFFICULT but successful with patience. You want to start on the bead that is closest to the narrowest part of the wheel. THE TRICK IS when you break that bead, you can press it to the inside of the narrowest part of the wheel (groove kind of) and that will give you the slack you need to get it off the outside on the other side (180 across). IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP EVERYTHING SLIPPERY ENOUGH SLIP OVER THE METAL. But if everything gets slippery, you have no grip. Recommend rubber (nitrile) gloves which will probably shred, and Simple Green. SG will be slippery when wet but dry up quickly enough to grip the rest of the tire when you need to. Something like silicone will lube the whole unit and you'll look like a monkey F***kng a coconut the rest of the process. Once you get one bead popped out all the way around, the other goes into the groove (narrow part of wheel) and comes off same side. Some screwdrivers, wedges or small prybars are useful for preserving your progress as you work around. There's sort of a "start" process when you're trying to lift bead off, then a "middle" process when you are trying to hold your progress and work radially around, and then an end progress when you've got about 270 degrees done and are trying to "pop" the rest. You don't need to buy the HFreight tire changing machine, but that's a last resort. A vertical pole sticking out of the ground that is stable that you can put through the hub of the tire is VERY helpful for levering against radially. You can do it. Use a lot of patience, think very mechanically about how materials behave. Bake the tire in the sun or an oven at about 120 to make it softer. Then approach logically and slowly, each time you lose ground or fail, figure out what went wrong and adjust. I like the resulting ride and look and traction of the tires, they look like quality. I installed tubes (that only SLIGHTLY complicates the reinstall process) but I'm glad I did cuz I'd never want to do this job again for a slow leak. It's an old Snapper Rear engine and I had no confidence the metal bead wasn't corroded. Note, I did this alone. With two people and four hands, it might have been a much more slick process. I think it took me 1.5 hours per wheel to remove, install, insert tube and inflate, so a 3 hour job for a pair. That's working alone. But a very good result.

Very pleased.
Carlisle is always a good tire made with quality. This tire was a perfect replacement for my Husqvarna 48" lawn tractor. No issues at all. Size is exact, holds air perfectly. A very good value for a tire that will last.

Real Tricky to Fit!
I had Carlisle Turf Saver Lawn & Garden Tire - 20X8-8 on my tractor for 10 years until one started to leak through the sidewall. The tire tread was still in great shape, but sidewall leaks cannot be plugged, patched, or fixed with a tire sealer. In hindsight, I should have invested in an inner tube. However, I read the reviews and took on the challenge of swapping out the tire and ordered a pair. I specifically chose Carlisle, since that is what I had on the original tractor. My original tires were "Made in USA", but these replacements are now "Made in China". Despite this, they appeared to be of excellent quality. However, like many other purchasers, I was disappointed that these tires arrived crushed and deformed which greatly complicated the mounting challenge. I watched several Youtube videos and first tried the air compressor and ratchet strap technique which failed multiple time to inflate the tire. I bought a second ratchet strap and got brave attempting the Starter Fluid and fire explosive method of mounting them. Prior to doing this, I removed the needle valve from the valve stem as recommended on Youtube. On my first attempt with Starting Fluid, I got one side to mount on the bead, so I attempted a second try. This time, the other side mounted on the bead, but blew the brass connector right out of the valve stem. So, I then had to go purchase valve stems, de-bead the tire, replace the stem, and start all over. On my next try, I used less Starting Fluid, and again got one side of the tire bead to mount again using two ratchet straps. I again adjusted the two ratchet straps and on my second try was ultimately successful in getting the other side to bead without destroying the valve stem. All in all, I do not recommend taking on this task. If you have a sidewall leak, purchase an innertube instead, and avoid all of the pyrotechnics and ratchet strap adjustments that I had to endure to finally get these deformed doughnuts to mount!

Good replacement tire for my riding lawn mower
I have a Hart (Wal-Mart house brand) electric riding mower and with one of the back tire going flat, I looked up online ordering a replacement and it was 105 dollars to buy the whole assembly which I didn't want. I ordered this tire as a replacement. The tread is a little thicker and deeper than the original, but once I replaced the tire and mounted the assembly, everything looked good. Was able to use soapy water around the inner rim to get the tire to expand to the outer bead and it was easy to mount the tire afterwards. Fairly easy fix, much cheaper than buying the whole assembly. Perfect fit as a replacement. I can't attest to its durability, but it feels like a strong enough tire to last for a while. I'll come back later and update my review if anything happens during the summer.
