9V 2A Power Supply Adapter AC DC Cable Cord for Arduino UNO MEGA, 5.5mm x 2.1mm & 2.5mm Plug, and More (6ft)

Got tired of changing batteries in my kitchen garbage bin with auto opening. It worked really well but needed SIX AA batteries every couple of months! So I bought this power supply to eliminate the need to change batteries. I clipped off the round jack and soldered metal tabs on the ends of the leads. I then slipped the tabs in the appropriate contacts for + and - poles holding them tight against existing battery springs with small dowels cut to length. Plugged it into the wall and voilà no more battery changes. It’s been several months and it works perfectly.

This charger worked perfectly for my Milwaukee M12 radio/charger.

Good power supply

We buy a lot of these and have not had trouble with any of them. Works well in temperature extremes, no issues. Size/length always as listed.

I love the length of the cord, and the fact it was a sideways mount AC/DC convertor. It did great initially powering the electronics of our LifeCycle stationary bike whose power supply had failed after almost a decade. But then one day the LifeCycle screen was just blinking. I tested the power supply and it had dropped down to less than a half amp output, not even close to the 2 amps it's rated at or the 1.5 amps the bike needs. I happened to have a multi-purpose/multi-tip AC/DC adaptor I tried temporarily - the bike is fine. It's just a cheap power supply that lasted less than two months, with no option for a return. My recommendation - look to a different adapter and pass this one by.

I needed a 9v adapter for a wacky tube guy. I have a bunch of adapters, but I needed one that was 1 to 2 amps. This did the trick. It provides adequate power and has the standard barrel plug. I actually like that it doesn’t come with a whole bunch of other adapters that I would never use. The cord seems like it is solid quality with a decent level of insulation. So far, so good, and I am happy with this.
