DK Readers Level 2: Sloths

My daughter just turned 7 and is sloth-obsessed. She got this for her birthday. She was not confident she could read it, but we found out it was about 75% full of words that she found easy. The rest just helped her learn. She’s been spouting off sloth facts and trying to identify their types ever since.

Our grand daughter loves everything about sloths so really enjoyed learning more about them and the fun facts. The reading level is probably for a 2nd grader but the pictures are great and she loves being read to.

I bought this book for my grandson who loves learning about animals. Great photos and information. In a couple of years, he will be able to read this himself, but he loves having it read to him now!

A Beautiful Book and so informative. Very pleased to send it to our Grandson along with the Sloth stuffed animal.

Their favorite part was the quiz at the end! And having it on kindle to show was great because I can zoom in.

My 5 year old son reads this by himself (I listen) and we do 1-2 chapters at bedtime. The book only has 5 chapters, so we've finished quite quickly, but it has inspired a love of sloths for him and he has returned to the pictures and chapters on his own many times. I definitely recommend- we've all learned a lot from this book!
