Hongdian Fountain Pen Set Ink Cartridges Blue Color, Pack of 30 Ink Refill Cartridges, 3.4 mm Bore Diameter

I recently bought a (very good) pen from this brand so also ordered these ink cartridges. They are well priced and come in three separate boxes which is ideal. They are easy to insert, just give the pen a gentle shake over scrap paper to get the ink flowing. Perfect fit! The ink quality is good, and a true deep black. In my pen it flows smoothly, and writes really well. I'm pleased! Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review useful.

This ink has a nice flow to it. The price is good, though I wish there was an option on a slightly longer cartridge.

I use these with the Hongdian Fountain Pen to create an antique, sepia effect in my notes.

Ink like ink. Everything is fine.

As a number of other reviews have said, I also found the cartridges to be a poor fit. The hole where the ink comes out is far too large in diameter and so, once punctured, the cartridge wobbles about and does not have an ink-tight fit. I now have ink all over my fingers. The ones I had before where a really cheap version from the high street and they were perfect. My pen is a Sheaffer. So now, having used one, found it to be unusable, I cannot now send them back for a refund.
