Great insect food!
I purchased this to feed to my Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. They seem to like it. The bucket lasts quite a while, especially when stored in the refrigerator. This product smells fruity! I have ordered Total Bites repeatedly, as this is the most economical way to feed a large group of insects. I prefer it when the gel is pre-cut, but it is easy enough to chop up the gel with a utensil before placing it in the food dish for the roaches.

Love this stuff
I've been buying the smaller version of this stuff for a bug gutload forever. I think it smells nice and hey, it's green so what's not to love? It works as a water and nutrient source and after reading the info for this larger container I found that even herps can digest it so I don't have to worry that there might be problems if my animals eat it. I have tokays so they typically won't touch anything that's not running madly around the cage and this means leaving the crickets in the cage (nighttime is prime hunting time) I usually leave pieces of this around the cage so they can gutload while my gecko gets around to eating them. The one surprise with this purchase was that it came in a solid jello block of gutload and not the little cubed pieces you get in the smaller version. Imaging my surprise when I realized I'd have to get a knife and hack it up myself. This has both positive and negative sides. On the positive, a larger slice won't dry out as quickly and It makes it easier to feed dubias or crickets instead of dumping a bunch of tiny cubes on everything (plus that often squashed a bunch of crickets) On the negative it is messier and when you want even cubed pieces it's up to you to make them.I recommend this to everyone. It's not the only gutload I use since most of my bugs get leftover foods from both me and my animals but this is my main purchased supplement.

Big Ol' Glob That Does the Job
I bought this for my Dubia roach coming because Amazon was out of my regular Fluker's Orange Cube. So far, the roaches have been eating it.My only gripe is that it came in one solid, bucket shaped mass instead of convenient cubes that I could just scoop and drop in. The picture shown is after I chopped it up with a butter knife (which admittedly, felt very satisfying...) to get it into convenient scoopable pieces.Neutral feedback: it smells like the old Hi-C Ectocooler. If you're into nostalgic 90s smells, you'll like it.

Great cricket food
This cricket food lasts a long time. I think it's much better than the orange cubes. We scoop out the food with a melon scooper. Very easy.. It has a nice scent.

You're lucky if you're feeders like it.
It's a lot of food for the price and what you would actually pay for a little container. Unfortunately my superworms and dubia roaches didn't really like it. The crickets would jump to eat it but when placing powder food for them they would all pick that over this. If you have critters that love it then you're lucky and you'll save money buying this but sadly my feeders didnt really enjoy it. Smells good though.

I like this stuff.
I swear this stuff doesn't go bad. I left it out of the fridge a few times, and no gnarly smell. It's great for when you've got a screwed up amount of bugs and you don't feel like making your own gutload. It's good water for mealworms, megas, roaches, and crickets. I don't use it as the entire diet for any of my bugs, but it's convenient.

Simply the best feeder insect food.
I received this two days after ordering. I have to say this is simply a amazing feeder insect food on the market. This one pound bucket is full all the way to the top. The feeder insect food comes inside a plastic bag inside the bucket to keep it fresh and moist. It does not stink at all. It smells like sour apple/watermelon mixed together. I bought this to feed my crickets that I feed my bearded dragons. They absolutely love this. After I put this in cage with the crickets they are all over it and its all gone after several hours. I use a ice cream scoop to get it out.
