Bought used/like new, box was beat up (as expected), but product was in perfect shape with all pieces. Installed it in about 2 hrs including setting up our phones with the rv climate app. 2 things, 1) if you have the heat strip, the connector will plug into the new power box, the connector on the box has a cap on it that needs removed. 2) the distribution box is secured onto 2 threaded studs with spring clips, they are very sharp and your fingers will be hurting for a few days, be carefull. Unit works great, no more manual turning the AC on or off or turning knobs adjusting temps. Wife says AC noise level is about a third lower (not sure why) thats a bonus.

Reviewers saying this is hard to install are incorrect, or just aren't even a little handy. I installed this along with an Rv Airflow module (check them out, expensive but worth it!) in a ducted system. I blocked the air out vent, in the inside piece where the screw in duct piece would get taped) with a cut piece of plastic I had laying around. I just threw the screw up duct piece that came with it away. Connecting the app was a little temperamental at first. I have an android and it crashed a few times when I tried to start it, but I kept trying and it just started working. Got it connected following the instructing and it's all working great. It's nice having the fan kick off when the system isn't cooling. I installed a heating element also and this assy controls it too. The camper is near coastal SC, so the heat strip should be perfect for it! If you have a ducted camper and are thinking about converting your manual ceiling assy over to a wall thermostat like I was, you can easily use this instead to accomplish the same goal. Especially with the RV Airflow module for your camper. That way the existing foam insert used in your ducted system can be tossed and you'll get a lot more airflow through your vents as a bonus!

This is a great upgrade to the manual controls for my Coleman-Mach RV air conditioner. This product allows the a/c to be controlled via thermostat so the a/c turns off when the desired temp is reached and then turns back on again to maintain the desired temp. The digital readout on the panel is easy to read and its easy to set. The two vents on the panel work great to point cooled air in specific directions (e.g. into the bunk area in our travel trailer).I did the install myself in about 2 hours. It's not difficult if you're somewhat handy and only requires readily available hand tools. The wiring part might seem daunting but its super simple and the kit includes all of the connectors (I used the existing ones). The instructions are more complex than need be. Do a search on YouTube and you'll find several excellent videos that give step by step instructions.We tested it this weekend in 92F weather in the Socal desert. I set the thermostat to 75F and let it run. The a/c turned off automatically at 75F and then the a/c would cycle on/off as needed to maintain the 75F temp. This was so much more convenient than manually turning the a/c on/off!I did not use the app/Bluetooth control since I was happy with just setting the temp on the panel.Overall, the control panel worked exactly as described and was a great upgrade.

I paid for a brand new item. Instead, I received a returned, damaged item. The return slip was even still inside the box! The broken pieces were included in a baggie. I would expect better for spending $300 on something.

I felt bad for our Ac always running and running or off. Either ran all night and froze our butts off or it would just be to hot to sleep. So bought this hoping it would fix our problems. Was quoted 300 for install but I wantched a few videos on youtube and did it my self easy peasy just follow what they do. Ran it all weekend and loved it!!! The Bluetooth is sweet too and can do it by just laying in bed. I sure hope it last for a long time and will tell everyone I know to purchase it if they have manual controls

i absolutely love this. A red, a lot of the reviews were people were having trouble with the app not connecting. I didn't have any problems with it. It's once you're doing the initial setup, you have to close out of the app entirely. For most people that's rebooting their phone. Other than that i've had zero issues with it. I do wish I could put a schedule like a nest, thermostat or something like that. The little directional vents are amazing, I point those right at me when I'm sleeping. And they deliver a ton of air. I had no problems with any of the cables being short. In fact, I had a lot of extra cable.
