Exactly what I wanted, nice vibrant color and texture

I saw the peacock color and had to make this spread number 4 meaning I have 3 others; a white, a yellow and a red (I also had the aqua but gave it away because it was not my colors at that time; I wish I would have kept it though because it would have fit my color scheme now!) Admittedly, the red one has seen better days but it's been several years and through several washings and drying so I am satisfied with its duration. My bed is California King so finding these chenille spreads that fit that size bed is a challenge. Anyway, I wash and dry before I put anything on the bed; there was a minimal amount of temporary shrinkage. As the spread is used, it stretches back. It is very light which is excellent when you are washing a king size spread in a washing machine (it fits nicely). It dried very fast too. I have one chenille that is so thick that I only use it occasionally, usually in the very cold weather, because it is really a bear to wash and dry (and then fold!). So, this spread is light, washes and dries well and the peacock color is beautiful! Oh, and one more thing, I always use a bed skirt; the spread on the California king does not go all the way to the floor at least not on my bed. Immediately out of the dryer, it was about three inches shy on each side but it is down to two inches on each side with the bed skirt peeking out below after a few days use.

I was looking for a Chenille Bedspread and found this. Unfortunately they were out of stock on Amazon (after I ordered it) but went to the website and they had them. I ordered the shams on Amazon. Great value and good quality. It is not super thin as some say in reviews. It is just as I remember Chenille bedspreads back when I was a kid. The bedspread is not super soft but I do not use softeners in my dryer as I try to do things without chemicals. I want to mention the bedspread washed beautifully. There was some shedding in the dryer but was expected. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Was looking for a bedspread to give antique look to a bedroom. This one looks great. Unique blue color that's not too bold or too subtle. Bedspread is well made. I've washed and dried it once so far and it held up well. Purchased for a queen sized matress on an adjustable base with a footboard. I have it draped over the footboard. The length is great all around, drapes to the floor but not much fabric on the floor, which is good for me. I don't sleep under the bedspread, so no comments about that. When it arrived, it was in a plastic bag. There was a strong, unpleasant odor. I couldn't tell where it originated; bag, bedspread, or both. I was relieved that after washing in unscented detergent, the bedspread has no odor.

I love the bedspread I received. The color is amazing. It looks to be well made. I ordered a king in the blue color. I have a couple disappointments. First being, it looks like chenille and it looks soft, it's not. It's not rough but it is not chenille. No big deal but I do wish the bedspread would reach the floor on both sides. front head to foot is fine but the bedspread doesn't seem wide enough to touch the floor on both sides. My bed is a normal height as my mattresses are approx. 14 inches thick. It doesn't come close. It's at least 12 inches short on both sides. The pictures are deceiving.

I would give this a negative star if I could. Within a couple of weeks of putting this on my bed, holes started to appear. It now has six holes. They start in the seam and rip across. The only use the bedspread gets is the 20 minute nap I take each day. It s beautiful to look at but if you want to ever sit or lay on it then forget it. For a $100 bedspread, this is completely unacceptable. I notified the seller. We will see if I get a response.

Love this spread and shams. I did need to wash and dry it twice to get all the lint out of the spread and shams. It washes and dries beautifully. It fit my king adjustable bed well. Soft and comforting as Chenille should be :-)
