Spectacular Keyboard!
Really love the Retro Steampunk Gaming Mechanical Keyboard!I'm only using the keyboard for typing (not gaming), but I love the round retro keys, and the clicky sound that they make. I also find the keys comfortable and fun to use.I'm using a different (softer) wrist rest than the one included with the keyboard as I have an existing wrist injury & didn't find the included wrist rest comfortable, but at least it came with one, and some people may find it useful.I also really like the inclusion (& placement) of the media keys - and the keyboard itself looks simply spectacular - day or night!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I was pretty excited to get this keyboard as it seemed like it would be a good, mid grade mechanical keyboard for gaming and essay typing. The keyboard looks really stellar with the round retro style keys and the light show it puts on. It has a lot of light options which I really appreciate. I didn't have any problems with the keyboard's set up or response time. However, when I tried to use it, I noticed that several keys feel better than others. The space key, the shift key, and any slightly larger keys feel a lot less sturdy than the regular size letters/number keys. This worried me right off the bat that it wouldn't last very long. This is also advertised as a mechanical keyboard, and while...yes...the keys do click, it sounds very plastic and cheap. I don't know if this is to be expected of "black switches", and I'm just used to the "blue switches" of my previous keyboard, or what, but it's not a very satisfying sound. My last complaint is with the hand rest and how the keyboard feels. I've had issues with carpel tunnel in the past and was curious to see how the hand rest would feel in terms of comfort. It does add some support for just being a curved plastic, magnetic add on. Would I pay extra for it? I don't think so.Overall, my opinion is that this keyboard, while very visually pleasing, is not worth the price.

This is my favorite key board ever.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It came quickly. It makes the clicky clacky noise I was looking for in a typewriter style keyboard. It has so many different light settings and they are all pretty cool. I will say it take a little bit to get use to the round buttons verse square buttons but once you get use to it its perfect. I highly recommend this keyboard. the extra magnetic ramp piece in the front makes it easy on your wrists and is very comfortable. I personally will rebuy this once the one I have dies. We are actually going to order one for my husband in the near future.

Looks good, difficult to game on
This keyboard looks so cool! I love how the keys are shaped like a type writer. But unfortunately, keyboards aren't just all about looks (otherwise I would be giving this review 5 stars). For starters, since it is shaped like a type writer, the most efficient way of typing on it is like a type writer... one key at a time. The keys sit pretty high so it adds to the difficulty of typing on the keyboard. For gaming, the keys aren't always the most responsive. It would work fine for games that require minimal keyboard usage, but for games that rely on the keyboard more, this becomes an issue. I wanted to like this keyboard, but in the end we just ended up replacing it with a more typing and gaming friendly keyboard.

visually nice, not holding up with normal use
this keyboard is very aesthetically pleasing, and the lights have remained bright since i began using this keyboard 7 months ago. however, the program used to customize the lights remains a mystery to me. despite customizing my lights in the program profiles, pressing the corresponding buttons on the keyboard will always bring up the same flat light patterns. the only way to have a moving light setting is to apply it in the program and close the program, no ways to switch between them.about 5 months after i began using the keyboard, the silver rings around the keycaps began popping off and cracking, as pictured. the only way those will stay on now is with a bit of superglue. disappointing to have it falling apart after just a few months. maybe eight or nine of my keycaps are glued.
