There was no rust to encapsulate, but I wanted something that soaked in to the metal to protect it & give her new life. It went on easy, dried fast and looks amazing. The spray pattern took a bit to get use to, but I was able to get in all the nooks & crannies on the body. It’s not cheap & took me 6 cans to go from the rear to the firewall, but you get what you pay for and it was worth it for peace of mind. I plan on going over it with Eastwoods 2K Chassis Black in the spring.
