First off, I ordered the latex one because it has the most support, the inside of it is lined with a almost fleece style material and it does cause you to sweat throughout the day but that is a good thing because you were burning calories. I actually bought it for work for my back because it gives so much support, I am a nurse and I have to lift patients and bend over quite a bit using my back and I recently had a slipped disc so this will definitely prevent any kind of back pain and it will promote good posture. Of course I'm sure you are reading this because you want to know about the quality of the brace for your waist, it definitely snatches that waste in so good you will have no rolls showing, it's very long in the Torso area so I like to push it down on my lower hip close to where my crack is at and it goes all the way up to underneath my breast which is perfect so that they're not roll popping out causing you to have a muffin top. This product does not make you thinner, but it helps with lowering appetite by compressing your lower ribs where your stomach is located. This is not a good product if you weigh too much as this works best if it can sit against your bone structure, like your hip bone and rib cage, and will most likely not be easily hidden under clothes as it will be unable to sit firmly against anything and may also cause chaffing. I had an old back brace I'd borrowed to help with back pain, I then went to buy one for myself and ended up getting a waist trainer since I could easily hide it under clothes as most back braces are rather bulky and uneven and don't feel good on my skin. I wore it for years but kept having pain at the top and bottom of the trainer. I was immediately surprised to see that this trainer was shaped better, fit better, felt better, and is so much more comfortable and easier to move in. When sitting it doesn't roll or press uncomfortably into my bust and when I walk, I don't feel the top of my bottom hitting it every step!
