They're a great deal. The initial conversion to these type of teeth costs more, but the replacement teeth are cheaper than regular teeth. They also last at least 3x longer. They cut faster and better too.

First, I would like to thank L-E Warehouse for a well priced, well packaged, and quick delivery of the 500 Series Greenteeth set of 10 stump grinder teeth in the cupped Red.We are new to stump grinders, but have many stumps on our property-and more coming. Though stumps may be cut close to the ground surface, they are still high enough to affect mowing. Mowers and stumps do not get along well together and the stump ultimately wins. Mower part prices add up. Figuring the cost and inconvenience of hiring a stump removal service, we recently purchased a DR EX 27 Premium (9 HP) Stump Grinder that was missing one of the tooth shaft assemblies. To avoid damage to the grinder, all 8 teeth need be in place. The manual was available on-line. But, it was difficult to determine what tooth fit this model. DR seemed very expensive and no cross reference could be determined. One of the reviews here indicated the Greenteeth 500 series fit the DR. On gamble, a set was ordered, arrived quickly and fit perfectly.There are two Greenteeth 500 Series grinder teeth sets being: Green has a flat cutting surface and is more durable in rocky soil conditions; and Red that has a cupped cutting surface, cuts faster and is more appropriate in softer soils. Our soil is sandy loam, so Red seemed the best choice. The hardness of the wood does not matter for selection of color. Both have a triangular configuration that fits into the rotating cutting head. As a result, each tooth can be rotated 60 degrees to provide three fresh cutting edges per tooth. Well thought out. The DR Stump Grinder has 8 cutting teeth positions and the package contains 10 tooth assemblies. That gives two spares should one of the teeth be destroyed as was the case with our machine.There is little doubt, by the previous reviews that these will do the job. As with many reviews, I will provide an update when these are put into service. The preliminary review is to make DR Stump Grinder owners with this type of cutting head aware that the 500 series is the proper fit. The other style looks more like a offset chisel attached to the head assembly. It appears that the series size has to do with horse power ratings on the stump grinder. Home use grinders are generally in the lower HP range.

Works on my DR stump grinder quite well. The cost is a lot less than buying from the manufacturer.

Exact replacement to the teeth on a DR stump grinder. DR wanted $169.00 for eight teeth and these were less than half that price for a set of 10. You can't go wrong and they look as good or better than the originals.

I used these teeth on my DR stump grinder and they work much better than the ones that came with the machine. I will buy these again. They take a much bigger bite out of the stump. Very satisfied with this product.
