We bought a series 4, 55" TCL Roku smart tv. The Roku remote is kind of ok, but has a couple of glaring problems. 1) The volume control is on the side and I constantly hit it. 2) this is the biggie - you can't enter channel numbers from the remote in Live TV mode. They don't exist. Yes, you can use the Roku app, but that is also a pain. I then stumbled into this remote as a problem solver.BINGO< BOINGO - Installed the two AAA batteries and it fired right up. it works perfectly with this TV!!! Everything works, numbers, arrows, volume. So this is a big, big winner! INSIGNIA NS-RC4NA-14

This remote is just fine with the smaller TV's with less features for controlling them. Fyi -(This NS-RC4NA-14 doesn't have a guide button on it.) Which i prefer. My Tv, INSIGNIA F-30 series has more options to navigate thru. So i went ahead & bought me one that has more buttons.. The standard remote that came with it is just too small anyway. A bigger one suit's me.!

Works better than the original, no batteries but other than that worked out of the box! Didn't even have to program it.
