The seller, without prompting from me, sent me their new, more highly scented version of Sandalwood essential oil, and I have to say that it is a vast improvement. I put just a drop or two on my wrist, and after an hour I can still smell it. The essential oil seems to have a deeper, richer base to it than other Sandalwood essential oils. It also diffuses well. I LOVE the scent of Sandalwood. I usually mix it with unscented lotions and use it to moisturize and scent my skin. I always get compliments like, “You always smell so good!” (My sister) Even a compliment from a man sitting next to me at a doctor’s office who asked what I had on. His girlfriend was just getting into EO, so he wanted to know.Because of the high scent, you don’t need to use much. And it is very cost effective.I will buy again.Update 8/13/20: I’ve purchased this many times, and I love the scent. I don’t know what others are talking about when they say it doesn’t smell like sandalwood! It IS sandalwood. And it comes protected in a giftable hard cardboard container, as shown in my photo. So I decided to chance it on the 10ml bottle and I'm so glad I did. The smooth, musky scent is subtle and not perfumey - just like the sandalwood scent I fell in love with back in 1999. As shown in my photo, the bottle lists sandalwood oil as the only ingredient and it seems to be factual. I have used sandalwood fragrance oil in the past and the scent is stronger but it does not smell as authentic. I would like to order a larger bottle but other review on the larger size has me concerned, I don't want to risk it. Instead I plan to continue to order the 10ml oil.
