Fits and works!
It fits my fridge and works great! Installation was easy (did it myself).I wasn’t sure about it at first cause the ice production seemed slow, but it’s working just as well as the original used to.

Works great
I installed it and within 8 hours it began making ice. Emptied the first few batches. It makes ice quickly.

Identical replacement for my fridge
Perfect replacement! The one that came with the fridge several years back stopped working. This replacement was identical to the one that was in the refrigerator when purchased. No need to do anything except remove the old one and install this one. It fit perfectly on the existing mounting screws, water inlet and plug in. Basically it was a plug and play type device. It took a while to get cold enough to call for water and start making ice but once it started it has not stopped. The price I found by a vendor on Amazon was less expensive than the same identical ice maker from other vendors.

Works well, easy to install
This was my second purchase in Amazon. The first one came with box damaged, unit used. When I installed, did not work. With a hunch that the product might be defective, I returned it and bought another one from this seller. Installed and worked.

Might not work
Three strikes and you are out.The first one that I bought worked great for a several weeks. It then started overfilling the trays which overflowed into the ice bin creating an absolute mess. I could not adjust the time actuation small enough to continue to use the ice maker. I returned the unit and got a replacement. The second unit was of a somewhat different design with no apparent adjustments. I installed it and after nearly 48 hours it started to make ice. It worked for three or four days before giving up the ghost and stopped making ice. My ice bin never filled up completely. I returned the unit and got a replacement. The third unit was similar to the second unit with no apparent adjustments. I installed it with no problems. After more than 48 hours it had not made ice. The mechanism appeared to cycling but the solenoid to actuate the water valve never actuated allowing the tray to fill with water. I removed it and requested my money back and promptly orderd another ice maker of a different brand.

I have ice cubes again
I have an older appliance Frigidaire model# FFHS2622MSWA and the ice maker stopped working. After watching some youtube videos I felt like I could replace it myself. They had a replacement at Lowe’s/Home Depot for $119.00 but I found this one on Amazon for around $50 and figured I could try it and if it didn’t work get a refund and get the more expensive one. The factory ice maker p/n # is 241798211. The replacement that arrived has a longer cord than the original and you can feel the difference as newer one is lighter of more plastic material where as factory one was heavier probably more metal. You also had to plug in the cord and put in metal rod on new one. Hardest part of installing was trying to get the longer cord out of the way of everything once inside. The first one of these I got worked but not properly. It would fill tray with water, freeze cubes, but when it came time to eject them into bin it would not, I had to push metal rod down all the way each cycle and after I did that you could hear a timer or gear turn on in front part and then it would dump the cubes and repeat cycle until it got stuck again. It was like the metal rod would not come down far enough to let the maker know it was time to eject cubes. Everything else worked except that one part of cycle. I decided instead of doing a refund on Amazon to try a replacement first hoping maybe it was just something funky with the first one I got. Replacement got here quickly and it seems to be working correctly so far.

20 minute swap out! A mirror to see the screws holding the ice maker was a must for me.
