This is the low one for mine. When my heater started overheating the water and shutting itself off, I ended up replacing the upper thermostat first (didn't help my problem) but glad I did not give up. I then ordered this lower thermostat and installed it. BAM. Problem solved. I guess I could have returned the upper thermostat, but I was too lazy to remove it again. BTW the original parts were much heavier than these new ones.
