DINKLESWomen's Glide Marching Band Shoes (Medium Width)

I have always used Drill Masters in my marching career and have never had any complaints, but as of late I needed black marching shoes for less serious events rather than the white ones I usually used in competition. I needed them pretty quickly, and figured the less expensive and (from what I heard) well received Dinkles would do just fine. Unfortunately for me, they are very stiff and smaller than the size I am/was recommended. I wear a m5/w7 and these are too tight!!! I would recommend going up at LEAST a half size, if not a full one. They are definitely made for narrow feet. As for the quality, they seem ok but I don’t think they hold up to my Drill Masters. Honestly, if you’re putting in money to buy marching shoes at all, get ones that you’re actually going to like because you wear these things for LONG periods of time.

I've been marching for 9 years now and this is the ONLY brand of marching shoes I buy. They're comfortable, look professional, and last a while. The only downside is how hot your feet may get in the summer time, but that's not a huge deal since I wouldn't wear them all day anyway.

Buy a size up if you're a 10. These made for a painful marching season.

They are Dinkles, you don't have much choice marching. However, a pair of shoes lasted almost 4 years, the tops look great she wore through the heel.

Bought these for my college age daughter for band. She has worn an 8 in band shoes & regular shoes; 8 was too small in these.

We thought the medium would fit just in between wide and regular but it's in the small my daughter is a wide in shoes but marching band it's too wide so we went with med wide but a but there on the tight side .

I ordered a size too small // they get the job done though
