Mine came with all the mounting hardware. The zirc fittings were welcome as the originals did not have a way to add grease. Regarding the unthreaded bolt holes, you're using a steel bolt to go into cast aluminum, steel should have no problem with that. If you have any doubts, add some cutting paste to the bolt to make cutting the threads easy. This is my second replacement, the first one I bought has lasted several years already. (I broke both originals) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality spindle *by T***A on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2015* So far, these are great quality spindles and I am satisfied with them. They are identical to the OE installed spindles except these have a grease fitting on the end. I purchased bolts separately for installation, but they were unnecessary because mounting bolts are included with the spindles. Be advised that when you are removing the old spindle, the mounting bolts will most likely twist off due to fatigue and heat. Based on the size of my yard, I'll be happy if these last two seasons. One other thing, make sure that you keep the old spacer because a new spacer is not included. The spacer which goes between the spindle and blade is necessary to keep proper spacing between the blade and deck of the mower. If you need a spacer, this part will work: Husqvarna 187690 Spindle Washer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked fine, but no mounting bits and not threaded *by M***O on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2017* This part worked fine for my Ariens 46" hydro mower and was much less expensive than a direct purchase from Ariens, but be warned that this did not come with the four mounting bolts as described, nor were the holes pre-threaded. By chance I had a tap on hand that fit the thread count and diameter. It was an easy job to tap the threads - but be forewarned you may need to do this as well.
