Charlie the Mexican Jumping Bean from Scene to Scene
First off, the book ends on a cliffhanger. I wanted to bring this up first in case people complained about the book, expecting a complete novel.Second, I am going to admit I got lost a few times following the character's actions. There is so much running all over the place I sort felt disconnected from the environment, unlike in the first novel. In "Silver Eyes," Cawthon and Breed-Wrisley really brought you into the setting. Charlie's house, the diner, both restaurants, etc. Not that they failed at doing this in "The Twisted Ones," but it seemed the minute I was just getting immersed into a scene, Charlie goes running off somewhere else. After a while, I was getting frustrated with her scampering madly from one thing to another. On the other hand though, you can see her slow descent into losing her mind. Without giving away spoilers, I applaud the authors for addressing this. I doubt anyone could live through what Charlie lived through in the first book and simply go on with their life like nothing happened.I wish I could like John, I really do. I just find him exhausting. However, I did like Jessica was really pleased with the return of Clay. I appreciate the authors touching on how everything affected Clay and Betty's marriage. The authors took the time to show their readers how all of the events affected other people, including minor characters.I am glad for the cliffhanger. While I prefer "Silver Eyes" more, this might change with the third book. Some of the descriptions of the new animatronics left me wanting. So many were thrown at you so quickly, and I had to remind myself the authors are not trying to follow the game. When you read the book, divorce it from the game or you might get frustrated looking for certain characters and they never appearing.I highly recommend the book. The four stars are because the book jumped around too much for my taste, but I would encourage anyone to read it.

Do Yourself a Favor and get caught up in this Series
First off, I am aware this is a series of page-turning books based on Mr. Cawthon`s extremely successful Horror Games known to all as simply FNAF now. It is not literature nor masterpiece material, and the writings are aimed toward teenage based reading. However, I am amazed how these books have riveted me to the pages and while I am looking for my next fix of these books I am dreading that one day I will be forced to admit my relationship with these characters is silenced and I will, yes. be extremely sad since I recognize my addiction. I will remain amazed at how everything that focuses on the FNAF Series keeps me riveted to the story. I forget at times this is a story put in such order with characters that play into a parody, that I find myself actually feeling like I know them.

Like five nights at freddys read the book
If you like the five nights at Freddy series read the trilogy book series. I enjoyed the book, I actually cosplay because of it now. It seems like Scott likes to put in big words randomly in different places just to get his vocabulary up for younger readers. This book is definitely has some core and a lot of bigger topics that young reader should not read. I would recommend this book for anybody over 13 or 14.

Book 3 Better Be Better. This Was a Rush Job That Was NOT Ready
***THIS REVIEW CONTAINERS SPOILERS***The Twisted Ones was a bit faster-paced than the first book. It's also a bit shorter, which probably explains the pace. Book two picks up roughly a year after The Silver Eyes ends. The horror in this one is more frequent and far more occurring than the first book as well. Centering around the Freddy Fazbear's Sister Location, which is somewhere between Charlie's college and Hurricane. And this time, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and even Foxy are part of the good guys, which is confusing all in itself in many ways, because the only animatronic that was good in The Silver Eyes was Golden Freddy, who made zero appearances in this book. Either way, there was plenty of gore and jump-scare moments throughout the book. This more horror, less snore-fest is really the only thing that saved this from being a 1-Star review. Thank you for listening to the fans, but it is what it is. I hope my review will be taken for what it is, as those who know me I RARELY ever give a bad review. There were a few, minor errors that I spotted, nothing that would really deter the reader, but I felt they should be mentioned since he authors do have the money and can afford better editing than they've gotten this time. This book left many many things unanswered. Springtrap's answer to Charlie didn't sit well with me, and I'm sure it didn't sit well with others either. Chapter 13 is a rushed mess of nonsense that left me not only irritated, but very disappointed as well. Everything in that chapter was rushed and very little of it made any kind of sense at all. Where to begin with the holes in this book? Let's start with:1) Springtrap... How the hell is he alive? IS he alive? Is he an intelligent zombie? His presence makes no sense other than the authors needing a villain, and who better than the one that was supposed to have been killed in the first book?2) The animatronic heads in Charlie's dorm room serve NO purpose in the book. Not one. Yet for the amount of times they are mentioned, thought of, seen, etc, you'd think there was a reason, other than they were being built in a similar fashion than the Twisted Ones.3)The door Charlie draws over and over, somehow without realizing she's doing it. She finally gets to the door and then NOTHING! With the house coming down around her, she doesn't have time to pry the mysterious metal door open and see why she's so drawn to it. And NO ONE goes back after the fact to find out. It's just a unanswered piece of the story.4) Where are Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy that Twisted Freddy was somehow able to wiggle his half of body all the way to Charlie? I'm sure they didn't just stop and vanish into thin air while knowing they'd been asked to help save Charlie.5) I can only surmise that Aunt Jen was somehow miraculously with Charlie at the end of Chapter 13 because at some point during the months between Chapters 1 and Chapter 13 she died and not one person thought to tell Charlie. There's no other way Aunt Jen could have gotten into the area without being seen by the others there.6) Chapter 14 is perhaps the most disappointing of them all. It's anticlimactic and doesn't even end with a real cliff-hanger.The release for book 3, which is as of now is untitled, isn't scheduled until June 26. Unless this book fills all, and I mean ALL these loose-ends, I don't see myself bothering to read it any further. I don't want to sit around waiting years to find out in book #20 the answers to book #2.I give this book 3 of 5 stars and pray the authors spend a little more time writing a story without so many holes and a better ending.

Brilliant
I have to say, I'm truly impressed with this as a continuation from the previous book. I would say it's even better ; the style of the prose has improved a lot and it feels more coherent as a story. Cawthon and Breed-Wrisley seem to have learnt from some of the flaws of The Silver Eyes - for example, there are now less main characters which makes everything a lot clearer. The pacing is also much better with less exposition and more action. The story has many twists and turns and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I won't include spoilers, but near the end it becomes incredibly intense, and the ending itself is quite suprising. A lot of new lore has been added as well, which could be both interesting and frustrating if you happen to be a theorist.Altogether, I would definitely recommend buying this book and I can't wait for the next instalment.

Spoiler Warning ahead! Main character is obsessed with sit ups!
Spoiler Warnings (I'll try not to put any if I can help it!)After I had read the first book, I wasn't sure if I wanted to get this one as the first book had a lot of plots holes and a main character that I couldn't care for. In the end, I got it mainly to see if the writing had improved....I can honestly say that after reading this one, I prefer the first book, story-wise.*I would read the first book (if you can) to get any idea what is happening. It takes place a year after the events of the first book and when Charlie (Our...*sighs* "protagonist") turns eighteen, she starts getting even more weirder and more terrifying nightmares than her normal ones. Ones which include her kidnapped, dead twin, Sammy, being locked behind strange metal doors. She tries to get on with her life though and is going to college and doing a robotics course which makes her new roomate, Jessica (from the first book) slightly worried. You are also introduced to a new love interest, Artie (who you can ignore because he doesn't really have a purpose other than making you want to punch him and only shows up at the begining and end of the book.)Charlie meets up with Officer Clyde, who tells her of a murder which she needs to look over. (And procceds to break a thousand police procedures in doing so.) He takes her to a crime scene where a body of a dead man is found and she recognises the scars, scars that you could only get from a springlock suit of an animatronic. As more bodies appear like the dead man's, it soon becomes clear that who or whatever is causing them is after Charlie (like everyone else in this book it seems). Charlie, Officer Clyde, Jessica and Charlie's 'real' love interest, John, go in search to find out what is really happening and just who is culprit.Honestly, this story is trying to do too much all at once. The science behind the new animatronics makes no sense what so ever (basically, it's a cloaking device that tricks the mind to make scary robots look like cute mascots). Sure, it's possible to an extent but why put all that effort when all you REALLY need to just make it look cute in the first place? No need to make some weird thingabob that causes your brain make up rubbish, the imagination does that for you! And there are again, like the first book, too many characters to keep track of (I kept confusing who said what to whom at several points) and a big fight scene, although entertaining, doesn't really help the story.Charlie just annoys me to no end. It might be because I'm older than the average FNAF fan but some of the stuff she does is bonkers and down right stupid. Even some of the things she says (either in her head or out loud) irritate me like she repeatly jokes that she does sit ups. Rightly, no one else really gets it. And when Charlie and her allies make a good plan to fight whatever is doing the attacks, she suddenly goes out on her own without telling anyone and puts herself in danger. This makes everyone else go try and save her which puts them in danger too. And Why? Because she feels she's responsible because the monsters are after her and she wants to do it herself. (I was shaking my head at this point and kept saying, "For fudge sake Charlie! YOU DON'T NEED TO DO THIS, YOU IDIOT!".)The pros of this book though is the creepy atmosphere of the villain's hideout that looks like some sort of walkthrough funfair attraction that becomes more claustrophobic the deeper it goes. The description of the backgrounds, especially the scarier parts, is great; you actually feel like looking over your shoulder at some points. The best parts are when the villain AKA Springtrap AKA William Afton shows up. He's a weird mix of a funny, cartoon bad guy and a villain who is cold, calculating and dangerous. I could not stop grinning when he talked and paid more attention to him than I did Charlie. I can only guess that it was a lot of fun writting about him. (To be fair though, I'm biased and like Springtrap from the games.)You also do start to feel more about one or two of the characters that do get more screen time like Officer Clyde who has lost a lot because of what happened the year before and John, who is a good guy that puts up with a lot of stupid stuff from Charlie because he can't help but love her. (And in the end, you really feel for him because unlike everyone else's, his emotions feel real and you just want to hug him.)Otherall, it's....got quite a few bad points. But it does also have quite a few good points too. If you are a FNAF fan, as long as you don't mix game canon with the book canon, you'll enjoy it, even the parts when the story goes in crazy directions.

Great read
Enjoyed this book, took a little while to get into but it was a very good read and I CANT WAIT FOR NUMBER 3!!!!! This book had me wanting to throw things by the end of it, if you're not good with cliffhangers I suggest that you wait until book 3 is out before reading it because it's such a dramatic ending!!As for the actual book and all, it came in no time at all, a little smaller than my copy of the silver eyes but that wasn't a problem, lovely book and a very good price. Took around 2-3 weeks to read when not reading it excessively. And if you haven't read the first instalment of the series I suggest you do or at least read the summary on Wikipedia or something, because otherwise there are parts to the story that won't make much sense.Overall this was probably the best £2 I've ever spent
