You can't go wrong with this pen.
Very nice. I wish it used a standard converter; its a shame to spend nearly as much on a converter as the pen its for, but it is a nice converter.I've been using Preppys for a long time now, very familiar with them, and this has the same feed and nib. Rock solid, always reliable, never a problem.

No ink cartridge
The pen is amazing just what you'd expect from a platinum fountain pen. Lucky I had a empty cartridge from a preppy to use in it.

Great pen
Love the pen. It takes the virtues of the Preppy and rises it to a much higher level. The aluminum body and think cap ring makes the pen look quite premium when capped, and it writes like a champ and never dries out. The medium point is one of the most buttery smooth nibs around, shaming many $100 pens. The only problem is that you can't eyedropper it since its made of metal and converters cost as much, if not more, than the pen. So, I suggest using a syringe to refill the cartridge with bottled ink.

No cartridge
Pen did not come with cartridge as was indicated in the product description. Meaning I have to wait to use one of my other ink cartridges and then be able to fill this pen. Other than that, pen seems decent quality

Love these pens
One of my favorite writing pens. Feels and looks like a much more expensive pen. They are on the light weight side and I love them

Good Replacement
Bought this as a replacement for the Plaisir I lost. It was a fine nib which was okay, but I prefer the medium nib. Both were excellent pens. You can swap out the nib holder with the Platinum Preppy if you want. I really like my Platinum fountain pens.

Nice
I particularly wanted this Platinum pen because it uses the Platinum carbon ink cartridges that I use in my art

A cheap disappointing pen
I got this pen a few weeks ago after watching Youtube reviews.I'm quite disappointed. It looks nice and feels good in hand. It's also quite light for it's size. The plastic section looks cheap.I tried the cartridge that came with the pen. The ink didn't flow properly so after wasting an hour with it I decided to try the converter I bought with a Waterman ink. Finally the pen started to write fluently, but the M nib is much broader than other M nibs, and I don't like it.I don't think I will use this pen, and it certainly not woth the money. I don't know if the cartridge I had was defected, but this is disturbing. For 10$ more, buy the Pilot Prera and enjoy a much better pen, with a better nib, great quality and better ink too.

Has quality issues
First, the clip fell off in 3 weeks. Then, the cap stopped functioning properly as I cannot close the cap in such a way that I can write immediately when I take off the nib. However, the nib is really smooth (I have an M nib).
